Sooo, one of my New Year's resolutions is use this journal (and deviantArt) to the fullest, and I need to get into the habit of posting. Ahaha, so, I'll be making a series of updates here, since I haven't had much of a chance to break it down during the days. Some of this information is important to you guys, so, please read!
Anyway, my life is a bit hectic, but I wanted to give the heads up. I'll break down this long journal with sub-headings. Top half will be related to Christmas Event and art, bottom half will be about life.
Also, I changed the layout of my journal. Is it easy for everyone to read? Easy on the eyes? ^^ I think I'll use the spring version of this layout once spring rolls around~.
Christmas Event
Christmast Event 2010 has come and gone, and my god! Was that just an unexpected turn of events? xD If Himaruya plans something like that next year, well, at least I will be more prepared to handle it now! It was a lot of fun though, for all its faults, and I was quite honored to have organized such a spectacular gathering of members and lurkers alike to come together and share their spazzing and thoughts. Twas, in the end, a very successful time, and I can't thank Himaruya enough for all that he has done for all of us! We have the best papa ever. *-*
Anyway, I'm hoping to make an afterword and complete scanlations of the event for downloading, so, that we have another way of preserving the pages besides the internet and html. c: I'm sure people would like to cherish a hard copy for their memories!
Christmas Requests
To all my friends that I promised gifts to, please, wait a little while longer. orz; I know it's way passed Christmas, even Russian Christmas, but a promise is a promise and I want to uphold it, especially for those precious to me. My life just was suddenly thrown into a very stressful time, but I am going to try my hardest to get the gifts out to you before the end of the month. I can't thank you all enough for the patience!
Doujinshi
Vague heading, but one of my resolutions, one of my old ones, is to get one published this year. *-* It's my dream to at least publish one in my life, and hope for many more! I want to try and make a mock up example of comic pages to share on the anthology page that I'm also going to be part of, for those who want their comics to print out professionally. I am excited, and I can't wait to work on it! Although, I probably won't get to it until February or in between my other duties. orz;
That being said, I really want to buy some doujinshi. *o* Among other things~.
Commissions
In lieu of the above, I am going to make a tentative guideline for people who want to commission me. Even with the prospect of a job in the future, I have a feeling I'm going to need to earn more money to really buy the things I want. I have a lot of responsibilities in the home, and let's just say that me making any kind of money is incredibly helpful to my family issues. And there are so many things I want to buy.... orz;; That and I also need to build a portfolio, so, if any of you are interested, I will probably start setting up everything in February, when I have my life planned out for myself. I also have one person on my flist I still need to do a commission for. c: I thank you kindly for commissioning me! From here on after though, I'll get my commissions out on a timely manner, however. I don't think it's right for the customer to wait for months on end and not receive some kind of notification.

School
So, school has started. I can't say I am unhappy with my classes. All my teachers are pretty boss! *o* The only thing I worry is that I have so much work I have to do, aiyaaah. My humanities classes are pretty much all writing, and my anatomy class is a ton of studying and, well, group projects and presentations. What a pain. I wonder if I will have time anymore. =_=;; A-At least three of my classes are math classes where the homework is optional! *-*;; Which means I have to do it anyway. orz; At least I can do all my heavy duty work on the weekends, and the math work during the week.
Ironically, I have to do a 3D model for Anatomy, just as my brother finished up his own, of which, my mother and I ended up doing. Oh why does karma have to be a bitch? What did I do to deserve this? xD 3D crafts have never been my thing...
Other than that though, everything seems to be off to a good start. I'll probably have a lot of fun amongst all the work!
Job
I may be employed on the weekends at Publix, part time! I find out on Monday, probably, if that's the case. It worries me, since I have such a huge workload from school this semester, also, since it's a weekend job, it will be very hard for me to meet up with friends online much anymore. TxT;; Still, at least I get paid, but if this job sucks all the life out of me, I won't mind quitting it. The money would probably go to payments for my car, the cell phone bill, etc... Man, I sound old already. xD
You all would have to come on earlier during the day on the weekends, or come on during the week. ;-; Sorry to say this. Can anybody confirm their schedules with me?
