Fall at the House
It's Fall here in Portland, and here are some pictures of our
The tree in the front yard. We still don't know exactly what it is. It's the first one on our block to turn.
Here's a closeup of the leaves:
The purple and yellow asters:
And the deep red chrysanthemums:
Our roses wilted under the heat shock at our last heat wave, but have recovered and are now starting to bloom:
The strawberries and blueberries apparently were in season before we moved in. We're at the end of the raspberries:
And lots and lots of kiwifruit, which are still hard as a rock and probably won't ripen until November:
