Sucks
Kittens. A word that brings many people joy, but not me. I have spent the last 3 days catching and taming wild kittens. They are extremely cute, but a lot of work. I'm physically and emotionally exhausted. So far, I have been the cause of numerous escapes, and one remains at large in Ashlea's garage. Its the nicest weekend of the summer so far with temperatures in the mid 90's, but I'm babysitting kittens. Tommorrow, its supposed to be 94, and I think I'm taking a break from the kittens. I just dont think I have it in me. Monday, they're going for a free vet visit and hopefully Tuesday morning, they will be off to the humane society. Now I guess, I should go into a little more detail.
There were a group of 6, 5 kittens and the mommy. One kitten is brown and black stripped. His name is Remus. Two are black and White dotted. They are Romulus, and Winston. Romulus has an eye infection that is being treated and is doing better. Winston is at large in Ashlea's garage. The female, all gray, is named Milly. She is the most recent catch. There was a black kitten, whom is currently presumed dead. Finally, there was mommy. We released her a good 20-30 minutes Northeast of here. We are using a live trap to catch them and so far has been really successful, netting us all the kittens, the mother, and a raccoon. We just let the raccoon go in the yard again. For the most part, this has been my life for the past few days. Ashlea has shared my fate, but as she didn't lose 2 kittens(Romulus escaped and was recaptured), and is more ... "skilled" with the kittens, she is taking it better than I am. Anyway, I think tommorrow, I'm going to try and sleep in, then try and get Cat to come swimming and convince Ashlea to take a few hour break from the kitties. On another side note, I am playing pokemon again and am having a hard time finding a light ball. Don't ask.
Finally, I'm getting the sims to work on my computer. I have the first 3 installed, but can't get the last due to God knows what problem. I think I'm gonna see if Ash will bring it over with her next time she comes. My legit copy or University won't work. I wonder why I download games now. Speaking of which, I have a pretty large collection of downloaded games that arent even installed. Go me. Still no job which upsets me, and this is getting less coherent by the second. I guess I'm off to bed. Night all.
