Waki digs around his workplace and finds that the canine's tooth is indeed missing. Coming out he gets glomped by an excited Magane saying "I put on clothes! It looks good right?" Waki comments the sleeves are too long, Konoe says that's good because it will cover up his sharp claws (poor Konoe is all scratched from helping Magane put on clothes ^^;). Rikiichi says because Magane is part wolf, he would feel uncomfortable wearing clothes at first but will get used to it. Magane happily runs up and glomps Rikiichi, Waki has a disappointed look.
At home, Magane sniffs at Uta and Yukino commenting they have a sweet scent. He gets smacked on the head with a broom by Shirahase and runs crying over to Rikiichi (aww >.<). Waki thinks to himself that children and animals can very easily integrate into their surroundings.
Magane crawls into Waki's room at night, asks if he can sleep with him and kisses him. Waki asks why Magane wants to sleep with him, Magane replies, "because you have a kind of scent. Uta and Yukino has a scent like sweet gentle flowers. Shirahase although pretty is a bit cold with a melting ice kind of scent. Konoe is like a warm sun, tender and warm hearted. Asari is like cherry blossoms at night, beautiful but a bit scary. Rikiichi is the forest, the sky, the land, the grass - with a scent like the clear blue sky, being with him makes you feel happy...And Waki has a lonely kind of scent. Even though you're smiling it makes one feel sad. The same scent that I have. So that's why I feel I should be by your side."
"Then will you stay by me?"
"Yes."
"Forever?"
"Forever."
"Then are you willing to become my other half?"
"Two males can be together too?"
"They can."
"I'm willing! I will become Waki's other half and stay by you forever! And then along with Rikiichi, I will protect Waki as well!"
Again Waki pauses at the mention of Rikiichi but takes Magane's invitation. Halfway through Magane's dog ears popped out due to embarassment, Waki thinks he himself isn't normal because even if Magane were to fully change into a wolf he wouldn't want to stop.
Come morning, Magane hears Rikiichi calling out to Waki, he rushes out to greet/glomp Rikiichi, naked and all. Rikiichi has come to tell them breakfast is ready, Waki watches them laughing together with a look on his face again.
Around the waterfall area Yukino and Shirahase finds an unconscious man washed ashore. At the same time, Uta in another part of the area finds another man stabbed at the chest and hand tied with rope. He opens his eyes and looks up at a stunned Uta.
