[Ethan's sitting with his feet up in his room, watching the snow falling gently outside. He smiles as he watches it. He's also eating ice cream. Vanilla Ben & Jerry's ice cream with maple syrup poured on top, to be exact. With a few walnuts and maple candy scattered on top for good measure

What, this? Ice cream's good all year round. Can't let a little cold scare you off.

She laughed, shaking her head.
Normally I would agree, but this isn't a normal cold. This is far worse than anything I'm used too.

[He looks a little surprised.]

It's just winter. Gets like this every year.

...Georgia, huh? No wonder. D'you guys get any kind of winter down there?

Well of course we do. William has told me that he's even had snow every now and then.

[He grins.]

Well that's good! I don't think any winter's complete without snow.

I go a good many winters without snow. It happens quite often back home. Though sometimes the dew has been known to freeze on the ground, it looks a bit like snow.

[He shrugs and takes another bite of ice cream.]

Can't have everything, I guess.

She nods.
Yes... But I do have much warmer weather, so it's to be expected. I suppose if i were to get snow it would not be such a good thing.

[He looks down at his ice cream and gestures to it.]

You want some? I know it's cold, but that only makes it better.

Well... She thinks for a moment. I suppose if anyone were to know about cold it would be you. Thank you, sir.

[He grins brightly and gets up to grab some ice cream for her. Vanilla, with maple syrup on top. He's about to sprinkle walnuts on, like his, but he pauses.]
