One Hundredth of a Second is a film about a war photographer facing the ultimate dilemma of her profession. She is forced to ask herself; if a person is in mortal danger, do you continue to do your job by taking a photograph rather than getting involved and helping?
The film is a reminder of the horror behind the images of war that face us in the media every day. “One becomes so immune to them, and yet behind them is something real and true, terrifying and inhumane.” One Hundredth of a Second is the fourth short film by Director / Producer team
Susan Jacobson and
Alex Boden following
BUSHIDO: THE WAY OF THE WARRIOR,
CRACKS IN THE CEILING and
COUCH CONVERSATIONS. The film’s world premiere was at
Edinburgh International Film Festival on 22nd August 2006. This was followed by screenings in London and a festival and TV roll out. We are looking to this production to support the development and production of our first feature film.
