WOW. Okay, so basically he's saying, "Evolutionists say that Heat + Matter = Life. I don't see any life in a jar of peanut butter, therefore, Evolution is wrong."
God Above, how stupid are we all supposed to be?!? Hey, jackass, ever eat BREAD?!?!? Yeast, tiny life that lives and eats and burps and farts and makes the bread dough rise, under conditions of heat. That's just a LITTLE different from PASTEURIZATION, dogs-ass!
Where do we put our food to keep "life" from generating in it? A REFRIGERATOR. BECAUSE IF IT IS WARM, MOLD AND BACTERIA GROW ON IT - THAT'S RIGHT, LIFE!
Besides, haven't scientists shown that, using one model of the primordial atmosphere, that simple monomers were created after the introduction of energy? And those monomers became polymers, which created an environment suitable for amino acid development? I understand that there is controversy about whether this "proves" anything or not, but still: given the right conditions, Energy + Matter = Life.
To say, "Energy + Matter does not ALWAYS equal Life, means it NEVER does," is a fallacy, and a particularly ignorant one. Also, this guy seems to be of the opinion that "life" means bugs, or people - some kind of fully formed creatures. Evolutionists have never said that lightning struck chemicals and made A PERSON - they assert that energy applied to certain chemical compounds STARTS A PROCESS that leads to more and more complex organic molecules, eventually leading to life.
Ignorance. Ignorance, and the SINFUL pride that hates when anyone challenges or pokes fun at your ideas. These are the kind of people who get mad when you dare to suggest that the Biblical account of Genesis is allegorical, not an actual, one-to-one account of how God created the world. The people who rigidly cling to strict, literal views of Scripture, and completely miss the ESSENCE of what is written there.
Jesus said, "Love one another as I have loved you." He NEVER said, "Publicize a lot of stupid crap that has no basis in fact or science, to (supposedly) prove something that DOESN'T NEED TO BE PROVEN! To me, evolution and stellar birth/death don't diminish my belief at all. I believe in a bigger God than they do. Or, they're just too damned stupid to really understand what matters, and what is important. It's unbelievable.
