Feeling much more human today. I've been sleeping about 12 hours a night and alternating working from home and working from... well, work. Today I actually felt well enough to drink my first cup of coffee since Sunday. Sweet, sweet bitter black coffee.
Last night I went to fuck_hugh and gabrieceleste's house to eat fondue and watch two episodes of Freaks and Geeks that featured Joel Hodgson of MST3K fame. Marissa chastised us all for not watching it while it was actually on television, but truth be told I wasn't watching much television back then. In fact, I was preparing to move here from Kentucky!
Wow, this song is really good. Very Social D influenced. It's amazing and slightly intimidating how many solid local bands there are. Yay music!
Can't find a single soul to go see Bauhaus with me. May go it alone. It's a David J thing. I would say the bassists that most influenced my style were Mike Mills and Simon Gallup, but David J is the bass player I want to *be*.
