Busy, busy, busy
Well, I do still live.
Susan, for those interested, is as of right now at a hotel in Deming, NM. Apparently she still has about 15 hours of driving left. Today they drove through a super strong rain storm, combined with huge amounts of fog (think how much there was a few days ago in the early A.M.), such that they could not even see the brake lights of the car in front of them. So far they are safe though. :)
As for me, I'm doing pretty good. Have been a little sick, but in such a way that almost completely prevented me from being able to sleep. Thankfully, Sudafed helped alot. Yay! Was able, after chatting with Kathryn for an hour last night (which was nice), to actually sleep last night. This wouldn't be such a big deal except I had only been able to sleep 1.5 hours the night before. I was in bed for 5, but only slept 1.5. I also tried later that day, and still was not been able to. So sleep last night was much appreciated. I skipped classes today so I could stay home and just rest and try to get better.
I've been a busy little social person, though I need to set some time aside (and not be lazy about it) to study for school. I have my first midterm coming up Feb. 4, so not a lot of time. I have enough, as long as I am not tooooooooo lazy.
Sadly, lots of friends are now no longer in the area. I hung out with Susan on Sunday and Monday, which was nice, but sadly she is now off on her way to another location. I'm glad for her that things look like they will work out, but selfishly sad that she wont be around any longer to go and hang out with. I also got to hang out with Jacqi last night one last time before she left for San Francisco today, her flight was at 12:30. I was really tired, so I was probably not fun to be around, but it was nice to get to see her before she left. So, as of right now, no more friends are allowed to leave the area. Sorry, but you are simply not allowed. Wait....what? But you had plans? Nope, nope, nope, simply not allowed.
