Happy Birthday Massu!
I don't really remember when exactly I became a fan of Massu. It might have started with Rescue or Tegomasu or all the namedropping Maru does for his BFF but certainly the turning point was when I read his 10,000 character interview from Myojo that brought me to tears. He truly loves being an idol, and his love for NEWS is like no other. I admit I'm no where close to being the biggest NEWS fan but his sincerity and of course his blinding smile are things I adore a lot. Happy Birthday Massu!
Even though it's Massu's birthday, Maru has a way of sneaking in anyway >.>
But considering these hints Massu keeps dropping in magazines that they perhaps don't spend enough time together, I don't think he'll mind getting a Nakamaru for his birthday :P
I made a Rescue fanvid using the song, "My Shadow" by Keane. It focuses on Daichi and Yutaka's friendship and their journey to becoming super rangers. It's my first "serious" fanvid and omg is it full of sap so hopefully it's somewhat enjoyable ^^;;
Click to viewWhen I first watched Rescue I had no idea who Massu was, but now having watched it a 2nd time along with several promos/behind the scenes clips and everything else I've come to know about Nakamassu, I think that it's so great that they got to do this drama together. I know they're professionals, but it must have been comforting to have a friendly face there when they were going through all the training, not to mention Maru probably felt some pressure with this being his first lead role. Idk, their friendship just gives me so many warm, fuzzy feelings ;A;

I can't confirm it's Maru that's hugging Massu but I'm pretty sure it is.
I'm sorry that in the end, this turned into a NakaMassu post but it's their fault for being so damn adorable >____<
