(no subject)
sleep is not a concept that i have really grasped this past week. i think i keep telling myself that if i just keep going and going, the sleep deprivation will just go away. hasn't worked yet.
i worked doubles all throughout the weekend. which was pretty sweet because of the money. sunday was the best. i made about two hundred. it was a pretty stressful day though. after work on sun i went with some ppl from work to go swimming at michelle's apartment. it was fun, nothing too special except that we almost killed ourselves jumping from the pool to the jacuzzi and back. and then michelle's little dog fell in. which was hilarious. well, her reaction was hilarious. good times.
mon i worked again.. shocker, i know. then mon night we all got together at jen's house again. it's a monday night thing. some poker was played. i ended up quitting in the middle of one of the games and so bubba took over. he didn't do any better than me. we went swimming a couple times. which hurt like a mo fo. not the swimming, but the jumping over the fence, because it was too late and the pool was closed. jumping over when your dry isn't that bad. but when you are totally wet.. that's another story. i have some battle scars from that night. all in the name of a memorable night.
today was my day off. i got the john fixed. well, not really fixed. his back windows don't roll up, but at least they stay up now. then i got him cleaned. inside and out. he's a new man. i went and saw cinderella man with my brother. it was good to spend some time with him because i don't ever get to see him, which makes me sad sometimes. my brother is a really good guy, and so much fun to be around. the movie was good to. after i got home i went and saw rachael, allyson, gregg, and erin for a little bit. it was so good to see all of them. we talked a tad about maybe drive-in movies tomorrow night. woot woot, wed night.
i just have to add this last thing. i was at the scottsdale mall the other day with kelley and so i'm going up the escalator. la-di-da.. and i look to my right.. and what do i see? nothing more than a big advertisement with johnny depp. it was a glorious moment, and now i know where i can just go and be with him. mmm.. johnny..
