What I think about at the dentist

Is there an order, a meaning, and a purpose to existence? Is there a great plan to everything, and am I then a part of this plan? Is the planner so wise that I cannot fail in my part, because everything I am and do, even my weaknesses and failings, are part of this plan? Or is it in fact important that I get this right somehow, though I truly don't know what ultimately is right? Is existence truly a struggle between Good and Evil, or are Good and Evil merely different aspects of the same thing? Is the universe as a whole one great entity whose parts interact according to this great plan in order to reach understanding of itself. Do I seek order, meaning, and purpose because that in itself is the purpose of existence? Is there ultimately a resolution between the seemingly irreconcilable Good and Evil? Or is there, perhaps, a third option? A force in existence equally irreconcilable to both Good and Evil? Something from which our little corner of existence is so distant that we cannot begin to conceive of it? Is it possible that I fall into the third category, even without comprehension of it?

philosophy, kinda random
