My sister is in Germany this week, so we are watching the niecelet. She just turned one in September.
Until yesterday, the only clear word I've heard from her is "No". Sometimes she says something that can be interpreted as "I love..." something. I've been teaching her to say, "I want a puppy" but have yet to succeed. We'll see.
So anyway, pretty much the only clearly discernable word has been "no", until yesterday. We took her to church. She was pretty quiet through most of it. The reading was from Exodus 17, which is about one of those old testament genocides. So the guy is reading and comes to the end, "...and Joshua defeated Amalek, putting their people to the sword."
And then the baby cuts loose with a loud and clear, "YAHOO!"
