Miami passenger shot by Federal Air Marshall after making bomb threats

You know, I think the Federal Air Marshall did the right thing. Even though this passenger was mental ill and was bipolar, his wife claimed he wasn't taking his medication. That's no excuse. If you're mentally ill and are on a plane, and not taking your medication, I don't want to be on the same plane with you, period. Why? Because you'd be unstable, and you could be out of control and threaten and scare other passengers onboard the plane. You don't make bomb threats while on a plane, EVER. If you do, you should be taken seriously and dealt with quickly and accordingly, just like the Air Marshall did. Heck, even the Marshall warned him to get down or he'll shoot. The guy was warned, he didn't listen, he pays the price. I feel no sympathy for this man, even if he is mentally ill. That's his fault for not taking his medication, or his wife's. Either way, everyone in the world should know that after 9/11 that we're not messing around anymore. We are VERY serious about these kinds of threats. My hat's off to this Federal Air Marshall, he did the right thing and should be commended. For those that disagree with me, that's your opinion. I'm sure if you were one of those passengers on that plane, you'd think differently. The Air Marshall was looking out for the safety of everyone on that plane. I'm glad to know we have more Federal Air Marshalls on planes nowadays. I feel sorry for any terrorists who try to repeat something like this, especially on International flights where I know most Air Marshalls are assigned.
