Bea (B to the eh-ah)

I went and did the live journal thing and checked out Bea play El Gato Loco here in San Diego. Newlywed to throwingstardna, Bea put on a clean set and even showed a little comedic flair, "What do you call a Mexican with a rubber toe? Roberto," while playing to an intimate crowd. (Don't worry she prefaced the joke with a clear explanation how it's not racist, it merely requires the name Roberto as the punchline. She left out the Roberto part though. That would spoil the joke.) Me, being a dork, got there early, sat awkwardly for a while, grabbed a paper, read about Gore Vidal, didn't introduce myself (I'm not much of one for introductions), took some pictures, enjoyed the show, and then hurried off. Regardless, I wasn't dorky enough to miss the show completely. If she's in your area check her out.
