Chuck didn’t understand him one bit so, yes, maybe he watched Nate sometimes.

Aww, perfect, Chuck only wants what he hasn't figured out yet. Let's all hope he never figures Nate out. Which he won't, because he doesn't understand that mentality, not at all, where it isn't all about getting the most for giving the least.

Nate was the only one who trusted him.

And of course, Chuck will exploit it. But if Nate ever lost that trust, I'd shudder to see the wreck Chuck would be. Okay, maybe shiver. In happiness. Erm.

Haha, yes, so a tv!Nate thing to say to Chuck. ^^ And it's like, it isn't even the gay bit that bothers him it's everything else.

Nate had been good. Better than good. Amazing.

Chuck depends on Nate and his trust more than either of them realize, I think. Serena thinks he's a pig and it's obvious that Blair and Kati and Isabel's opinions aren't much better, although they'll still hang out with him, but Nate's the only one who hangs out with Chuck of his own free will, on his own time, and alone. They're so cute. ♥

I always tend to have a thing for the doomed ships. It's both a joy and a curse. :D

I love this! Lovely writing style, and it's just such spot-on Chuck and Nate. So them. So perfect. So hot. Plus: humor with a slightly dark tone always wins my heart, and this had that as well.

One golden eyebrow went up. “Am I the only one of us who distinctly remembers banning you from inviting Kati and Isabel over to do body shots on my coffee table?”

“No, I vaguely remember that conversation,” Chuck said with the slow smirk he was so famous for. Most people knew to fear it-or, in some cases, get aroused by it-but after twelve years of camaraderie, Nate just rolled his eyes and prepared to make himself scarce for the afternoon. Chuck held up a hand. “Just a moment, Nathaniel.”

Nate sighed. “Chuck, I’m naked.”

<3 You really captured the things I love about their relationship and the way they interact with each other, the things we've seen hinted at on the show. The way Nate treats Chuck is different than the way anyone else treats Chuck, and I think, whether Chuck admits it to himself or not, that is rather important to Chuck.
