Travelocity.

You suck. So I find a flight cheaper there than Expedia or Orbitz and then get to a screen where it asks for hotel stuff (which I don't need). I say no, then it doubles the price of my flight. I go back and say yes, and it comes out a little cheaper than the flight alone. WHAT? fuck you.

update: et tu, hotwire?

I found it is good to use those sites to find what you want, then go to the companies website directly (either airline, hotel, car)

95% of the time it will be cheaper on the companies site!

I tried it (us airways) and it was rediculously priced. I wound up getting a delta flight, but I forgot to give delta's site a try. f'n pricy to go from Seattle to Miami.

Try going into Ft. Lauderdale. About 20min away and much cheaper!

I'm going on a cruise out of Miami, I looked into the fort lauderdale prices and just by chance the times weren't a good match for my schedule. I pretty much have to do a red eye there, and book a flight back after 10 am. surprisingly harder than it should be (Apparently I was trying to book a flight in the midst of hotwire, travelocity, expedia and orbitz were doing price changes). But it's done now, and now I have to schedule a flight to New Orleans for a 2 day visit to Tulane.
