Did tonight really happen? Did I really just see 3 of the top 10 trumpet players in the world for FREE? I'll explain later. OH MY GOD That was such a treat. Wynton Marsalis is a genuine nice guy. To those that missed it (ahem Cara and Quent)... TOO BAD!! Muahahaha!!

I played alto sax for 6 years, now I have a guitar (don't play really). I definitely prefer the sound of trumpets and trombones now but I still like saxophones from time to time. how 'bout you? How'd you get into it?

Yea.. I flew in last Thursday and I just left a couple of hours ago. Now I'm visiting family before flying home later this week.

Wassup chuckles!? Hadn't perused your journal in quite some time. Hope all things are well. Last time I talked to you you were thinking about a change of scenary and possibly occupation. It sounds like you're still chillin in seattle. Cool that you made mardi gras this year, I didn't cause I used all my time off over christmas ;/

Who knows, I may be in Austin in about 8 months. We shall see...

Quickie update: My office was shut down => currently unemployed (and loving it) => checking out grad schools -though I'm a bit late for some of the applications thanks to the untimely layoff.

PS: currently in lafayette for a couple days, my dad (MY DAD!) just bought a house here and I'm helping him move in.

... Weren't you and Glynn going to do some road trip or canada trip? What happened man?

Awe that sucks about your job chuck. Did your office see it coming? I mean it seems a bit sudden that your entire office just went out of business. Or was where you worked part of a larger corporation that decided to close down their seattle branch? Regardless that blows. Check out grad school at UT hehe, if I have my way I'll be down there before you know it ( ... )
