So, with mardi gras up and coming soon... I've decided to buy a smaller camera ;) My beast just screams "MUG ME". I've narrowed it down, more or less, between the powershot 500 and the SD300 elph. the former is slightly slightly bigger with 5 MP instead of 4, though the SD300 I believe has the digic II processor and may be a bit sharper. I also have a spare CF card for the 500, where I'd have to buy the SD card for the SD300. It's a close one... the sd300 is so small!
Also I love my headphones. I wore them for hours during my near-allnighter working on my statement of purpose. So comfy. So clear.
Homeowner's meeting last night.... The city of seattle came to inform us that they're cementing over our load zone in front of our building and putting in a bus stop. Needless to say, we went ape shit - in a bad way. There's so much crime that I witness late at night across the street BECAUSE of the bus stop. And then to put that directly in front of a residential building is stupid. My street is already known for it's crime in Downtown Seattle BECAUSE of the bus routes. They seemed to take our criticism well and will try to work with it. But all of this needs to be done pronto, because of the new bus routes beginning in September due to the bus tunnel closure. Ugh.
