wireless providers

So I currently have Verizon wireless, but my phone is dying (display and a few dropped calls). So I start looking for new phones and decide I really want a bluetooth phone, unfortunately verizon is a bitch about this.

So I look at other carriers, and the att/cingular group has good bluetooth phones, but I have no idea about the service. Any comments?
