CHAPTER 9

"See this is why I didn't want to come in here," Junsu stated to Yoochun as they hung out by the counter.

They both observed Boyoung by the window as she flaunted her exposed cleavage and legs to every male species in the cafe. With her halter dress and stilettos, there was no doubt she'd catch every guys' attention. She even stole twiddle dee and twiddle dumb's affection. Changmin and Geunsuk wouldn't stop asking her if she wanted refills or scones. They were like her little servants. Boyoung always took advantage of her beauty and used it for her own pleasure. And Junsu hated that. He hated that Boyoung was able to do whatever she wanted because she was more “grown up” and experienced than he was.

Junsu had a feeling that this was how she stole Joongki away. Just seeing Boyoung lure other men to her table made Junsu think of how Boyoung’s relationship with Joongki started. He always wondered how it even began. So many scenarios kept playing in his mind. Now seeing how it possibly played out right before his eyes- attracting men like she attracted Joongki with her sexuality - killed him. Boyoung had already done enough by breaking him and Joongki up. Junsu didn't need to see her ex-best friend showing it off at his work place. This was possibly revenge for the incident at the gallery. Junsu had no time and no strength to be reminded of his past anymore. With Boyoung showing up so much, Junsu will never get rid of his heart ache.

"If she shows up again after this day and the days after that, you can fire me," Junsu suggested.

Yoochun looked away from the brunette and turned to Junsu curiously. "What?"

"I'm serious, you can fire me," Junsu replied. "Better yet, just fire me now because I can't handle this."

Yoochun furrowed his eyes at Junsu. "Is it really that hard to handle her being here? You were fine when she showed up at the mall."

"That was at the mall," Junsu answered. "This is at the café where I work. The atmosphere is different because I serve people here!"

Yoochun sighed deeply and glanced at Jaesuk who was busy brewing a couple coffee orders. Then he turned back to Junsu and noticed how tense he was.

"You seriously can't work here if she's around?" Yoochun questioned.

Junsu nodded. "She's the reason why I’m suffering like this. I can't look at her without thinking about my break up."

"She's been here for about fifteen minutes and you haven't broken down yet."

"It seems like it's been forever," Junsu sighed, placing his chin on his hand and began observing Jaesuk brew coffee.

"Well, your break up was forever ago. I still can't believe you haven't gotten over it yet," Yoochun stated. "If that happened to me, I'd forget about it in a day. People like that aren't worth my time."

Junsu turned to him and furrowed his eyes. "Just wait until the love of your life cheats on you with your best friend and see how long it takes for you to get over it."

"That's never going to happen," he lightly chuckled, watching Jaesuk pour milk into a mug.

Junsu lifted his eyebrows. "What do you mean that's never going to happen?"

"No one would ever cheat on me."

Junsu scoffed and shook his head. He couldn't believe how cocky Yoochun was being. Why are all attractive men so conceited? Does a humble handsome man even exist in this world or are they all carbon copies of Park Yoochun?

"That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard," Junsu stated.

Yoochun turned away from Jaesuk and looked at Junsu. "Why is it stupid?"

"Because you're basically saying that you're too good to be cheated on. Like you're at the top of the food chain. No one can get a better catch than you."

Yoochun smirked, delighted by Junsu’s answer. "Now if you were saying that to flirt with me, I would be pleased. But since you're saying it in a negative way, I'm kind of mad that you'd expect that from me."

"What else am I supposed to expect from 'no one would ever cheat on me'? Hmm?"

"I choose my lovers wisely," Yoochun answered. "I make sure I don't get involved with people who have the tendency to flirt with every other person possible." Junsu glanced at Boyoung when he stated that. "Or people with pitiful love lives." Junsu immediately turned to Yoochun and gave him the evil eye.

Yoochun observed the expression Junsu was giving him. He chuckled. It was obvious that Junsu was annoyed by that comment, but somehow he kind of liked it when Junsu glared at him. Besides him being a burden to him for the past couple of weeks, he found Junsu kind of cute. Junsu was actually growing on him despite all the unforgettable incidents he put him through.

"If only I chose my lover and best friend wisely," Junsu stated. "Then I wouldn't be in this mess. Good thing I chose you to be mentor me in this atrocious time in my life."

He looked away from Junsu and nodded.

"Here’re the two hazel nut orders," Jaesuk stated, placing two mugs in front of Junsu.

Junsu smiled. "Thanks Jaesuk hyung," he stated as he grabbed the two hot drinks.

"No problem."

"I guess I better get back to work," Junsu stated, climbing down from the stool to deliver the drinks across the room.

Yoochun observed him as Junsu made her way past Yunho. Junsu smiled at the guy and he returned a smile right back.

"I feel like I've seen you before," Changmin stated as he leaned against the table Boyoung was sitting at.

"Really?" she questioned, sipping from her cup of coffee. "Where?"

"I don't know. Do you go clubbing a lot?" Changmin questioned, trying to hold his tray in a cool way, but he was failing badly at it.

She smiled. "Not really," she lied.

Junsu overhead and shook his head. Boyoung was such a liar. She went to clubs every week. She went on Hump Day Wednesdays. Thirsty Thursdays. Freaky Fridays. And her popular nights, the Slutty Saturdays. It was originally called Sexy Saturdays, but Junsu liked to prefer them as Slutty Saturdays since Boyoung was always a complete and utter mess on those days. Terrible. Junsu had to pick her up off the floor a few times because she was too drunk to stand up on her own feet. Awful times.

"Perriot!" Changmin recalled.

Junsu and Boyoung raised their eyebrows at the same time. Boyoung was well aware that Junsu was listening from a far.

"Huh?"

"I saw you at Perriot. I said something to you but then you sat with some guy," Changmin stated.

Junsu’s jaw tightened. It was obvious that this guy was Mr. Song Joongki. Again, the thoughts of them being together like an engaged couple made him want to vomit. And actually seeing them that way through the window of a restaurant was a stab in the chest and back.

"I don't remember that," Boyoung stated.

"Figures," Changmin replied, sadly.

"Sorry."

"It's okay. You have a boyfriend anyways. He's a really lucky guy to have a girl like you," Changmin complimented.

Junsu rolled his eyes as he approached one of the messy tables at the corner of the room. If only Changmin knew what kind of girl Boyoung was then he'd probably ditch her in a second. But then again, this was Changmin. He'd probably keep her despite her cheating habits.

"I'm actually single," she corrected him.

A delighted smile suddenly appeared across Changmin’s lips. "His loss then."

"He wasn't my type anyways."

"Then why the hell did you date him for six months," Junsu mumbled, wiping off the little spills of coffee from the table.

"What's your type then?" Changmin questioned.

Boyoung smiled. She knew he wanted her to describe him, but she moved her eyes away from him and spotted Yoochun at the counter, looking through a brochure. She remembered meeting him at the mall when she found Junsu surrounded by attractive men. Although Geunsuk was giving her positive signals at the time, she found Yoochun more appealing. He had the face of a god and he was tall too. He was definitely her type.

She returned her gaze back to Changmin and said, "I like the tall and handsome kind. With porcelain-like skin."

"You make me want to voooomiiiiit," Junsu sang silently as he stacked the plates and cups on his tray.

"Two out of three!" Changmin stated gleefully.

"Changmin!" Yoochun called out. They both turned to him. "Stop chit chatting and get back to work. You have other customers to serve. Remember our motto," he stated. "We serve all."

Changmin groaned and took a step away from the table. "I got to get back to work," he stated.

"That's fine. You should get back to it anyways."

"Nice meeting you Boyoung-sshi."

"You too, umm-. . . "She forgot his name. In place of it, she just smiled seductively to close up the awkward space. Changmin didn't even care if she knew his name or not. He thought she was the hottest creature on the planet. A simple smile was all he needed.

She watched as Changmin walked outside to serve the people on the patio and then she glanced at Yoochun. He was walking away from the counter towards the window near her. There was a table with a few dishes left for him to clean. Changmin was supposed to clean it up, but he was too busy chatting it up with Boyoung. When he bent down a little to pick the mugs up, she couldn't help but notice his perfectly shaped back that was hugged by the white button down shirt.

She raised an eyebrow and smiled at him when he turned around. "For a young handsome man as yourself, you really know how to keep your employees straight," she stated.

Yoochun stopped in his tracks when he realized that she was talking to him. "It's my job. It's what I do."

Junsu was about to lift his tray of dishes up when he heard that Boyoung was now having a conversation with his boss/mentor. He sneakily craned his neck above the tall lanky man with the longest neck he’s ever seen to see what their body language was like.

"Well I'm impressed. You're doing a really good job," she complimented.

"Thanks. I'm glad you think so," Yoochun replied. He knew what she was trying to do. She's been doing it the whole time she's been here. He had to admit that she was really attractive. Physically, she'd be the type of girl he'd date. She had the looks, but after knowing Junsu’s history with her, he didn't want to be involved at all. Yoochun hated drama and he always made sure that he didn't interfere with anything close to it. But lately, after meeting Junsu, he's been the interference. Regardless, he still didn't want to be pulled in deeper into the already complicated love triangle.

"It's been tough, but I'm getting used to it," he added.

"You look like you can take it. You look like a strong guy," she smiled seductively.

Yoochun lifted an eyebrow when she leaned forward in her seat. He chuckled silently at the sight of her exposed cleavage. She didn't see it, but he actually pitied her for even trying to seduce him. When a girl turned him off, a girl turned him off. And Boyoung was definitely a turn off.

Who would want to date a woman like her who was willing to expose herself to any man she wanted? Not me.

"Thanks again," he smiled, holding the tray of dishes carefully in his arms. "Enjoy your coffee.'

"Wait," she called out before he could walk away. "What are you doing after work?"

Junsu furrowed his eyebrows and grew curious. He wanted to hear what Yoochun was going to say next.

Yoochun thought for a second and glanced at Junsu who was craning his neck around the lanky man who was blocking his view. He chuckled to himself. Boyoung noticed him smile at a further distance and turned around to see what it was. Junsu quickly turned way when he realized that they were looking at him and continued readjusting all the items on her tray.

Boyoung’s jaw tightened and turned back to Yoochun when she realized he was smiling because of Junsu. She grew annoyed by it but she didn't let it affect her.

Yoochun stopped laughing and glanced at Boyoung who was waiting for his answer. "I'm actually going to be busy after work. Sorry," he stated.

"Well what about later tonight?" she questioned. "I have a friend who works at Club Heaven. I can get you drinks for free."

Yoochun smiled. "That sounds tempting, but I have a busy day at work tomorrow. I can't be out late."

Junsu grinned when he heard Yoochun reject her. It was probably the best thing he’s heard and seen in a while. The girl who thought she could get any man she wanted - single or not- wasn't able to get this one. Finally someone wasn't cursed by her evil spell.

Junsu couldn't deny it. Yoochun was physically attractive. He remembered seeing his body at his house the other day. He was definitely well-built. Men and women would do anything to have a lover that looked like him. And to add on to that, Yoochun was actually pretty okay when he wanted to be. He was helping him after all. After being such a burden to him, he was still willing to help him. He hired him to paint a mural for the café and asked him to work there even though he destroyed his car. He even thought Yoochun was going to fire him when he came to work with his issues still intact, but he didn't. No matter what he did, Yoochun still gave him chance after chance. He just couldn't stand his pompous and demanding attitude. But Junsu loved the fact that Yoochun didn't want anything to do with Boyoung.

Surprise! Yoochun had some taste after all.

"The weekend then," she suggested. "I'm not taking no for an answer. I want to see you there Saturday."

"We'll see," Yoochun answered.

Junsu shook his head. He could feel the desperation in Boyoung’s voice. He found it kind of humorous to see Boyoung this way. She's never been rejected by a guy before, she was the one who always did the rejecting. There's a first for everything.

--------------------

It was eight in the evening and Joongki had just finished a check-up on one of his patients, so he decided to take some time to check on Boyoung. He still had deep feelings for her. He just couldn't understand why she was the one who broke up with him. It didn't make sense to him. They were both at fault, but she blamed the whole situation on him. She never admitted that she did anything wrong. Regardless of her selfishness, Joongki was still attached to her. She gave him everything he wanted after all.

He parked at the curb next to the boutique where she worked. She was a retailer for one of the popular shops in town. Every teenage girl loved that place except for Saeyoung. She thought the clothes looked cheap and never changed through the seasons. It was bland.

Boyoung was alone in the shop which meant she was closing for the night. He watched as she walked across the room with dresses hanging over her arm. She hung a few on the racks. Then he observed her as she sneakily ripped a tag off one of the items. His eyes widened and watched as she stuffed it into her bag that she hid underneath the racks.

"What the hell?" he questioned himself. "Is she really stealing that dress?"

--------------------

"She was only here for about thirty minutes," Junsu stated over the phone as everyone began walking out of the café.

"Did she talk to him? Did she flirt with him?" Saeyoung questioned.

Junsu rolled her eyes and bumped into Yunho back as he suddenly halted right in front of her. "What the-" he cried out.

"Someone dropped a dollar," Yunho replied, kneeling down to grab it.

Junsu groaned and walked out onto the sidewalk. "She basically flirted with anything that had a penis," Junsu answered.

"But did she talk to my man?" Saeyoung emphasized.

"In all honesty, he talked to her," Junsu stated, smiling at the guys as they started walking to their cars. "He was like a magnet like the rest of them."

"Ugh," Saeyoung groaned. "I'd really like to punch her in the face a few times or pop her boobs with a needle then no one would ever want to date her."

"Saeyoung, seriously?"

"I'd do it anyways."

Junsu sighed in disbelief of his sister's strange determination to kill Boyoung off the planet.

"See you tomorrow, Junsu," Geunsuk stated, coming over to give him a hug.

Yoochun locked the door and turned around to find Geunsuk and Junsu embracing each other. He cleared his throat at the sight and stepped down.

"Have a goodnight, Geunsuk," Junsu smiled and they parted.

"You too," he replied, walking towards his vehicle in the parking space across the street.

"Bye, HYT," Changmin called out.

Junsu furrowed his eyes at him with the phone still at his ear. "What?"

"Handsome Young Thing," he smirked.

"Ohh," Junsu laughed. "But you’re the young one! You have a goodnight, Min-ah."

"Changmin! He's there! Tell him I said hi!" Saeyoung begged. "Please! Please!"

"You should hear how desperate you sound right now."

"Just do it!"

Junsu groaned. "Fine," he replied. "Changmin!" he called out before he and Yunho climbed into his car. "My sister wanted to say hi."

"Aw, well tell little Saeyoung I said hi back."

"Saeyoung, he said-"

"Little Saeyoung?" she cut in. "No, I'm not little."

"You should be thankful that he actually took the time to say hi back," Junsu stated.

"I know, but Little Saeyoung? Really?"

"Youngie-ah, I have to get back home, so let's save this conversation another time."

"But really, Little-" Junsu quickly hung up the phone before his sister could finish that sentence and stuffed it in his pocket.

"Congratulations on today," Yoochun stated, stepping next to him with his car keys in hand.

Junsu looked up at him. "For what?"

"For tolerating half an hour with Boyoung in the room. I didn't think you'd make it through."

Junsu smiled and craned his neck out to find a cab. "Well I needed to change. I can't change if I don't take a step forward."

"I'm glad you actually listened to me."

"No matter how pompous you make yourself out to be and no matter how much I hate it, your words are probably what I need to hear at the moment."

"I'm impressed," Yoochun smiled.

"You should be," Junsu replied. He stopped looking out the street and observed Yoochun beside him. He should be walking to his Maserati by now, but instead he was looking out the street like he was. "What are you doing?" Junsu questioned.

Yoochun glanced down at him. "I'm waiting for a cab to come pick you up," he answered.

"Why?"

"It's late and I'm not going to leave my employee here waiting for a cab."

Junsu felt a sudden tingle in his chest at the thought of him doing something nice for him. "How sweet," he awed.

Yoochun rolled his eyes. "Don't think too much of it. I need all my employees at work tomorrow," he corrected. "I can't you have you raped and kidnapped."

Junsu scoffed and folded his arms across his chest. "What's the deal with you and work? Is running this café really that important to you?"

"Do I have to answer that question?"

Junsu lifted an eyebrow. "What if I say yes?"

"I won't answer it."

"If I say no?"

"I obviously won't answer it."

"Then I guess my answer to your question is that it's up to you whether you want to answer it or not."

Yoochun chuckled to himself and shook his head at Junsu. "It looks like the cabs aren't getting anywhere close to this street," he stated, observing the bright lights at the end of the road.

Junsu pouted. "They'll come eventually," he stated desperately.

Yoochun sighed. "Come on," he stated, walking towards his Maserati.

"What?" Junsu asked.

"I'll give you a ride home."

"I'll get a cab," Junsu refused.

"Don't be an idiot. You'll be home faster if you just come with me. If you stay here and wait, it might take hours until the next cab comes by."

Junsu glanced back towards the section with all the lights and sighed deeply. It was odd how this down town street was always busy during the day than it was during the night.

He sighed and turned to Yoochun who was impatiently waiting for him to make a decision. "Fine," Junsu answered, following Yoochun to his car.

Junsu was busy playing a game on his phone to keep him occupied during the drive. It was weird for him to be sitting in a replica of the car he destroyed weeks ago. It was so nice inside. The leather was smooth. The stereo was legit. The windows were tinted. And the car smelled brand new. He couldn't believe that Yoochun actually let him set foot inside of it at all.

Yoochun glanced to his side for a second to observe Junsu. His head was down, totally focused on the game. He was making these little expressions every time he lost or failed to complete a level. He looked like a little boy. No wonder Joongki thought he wasn't man enough for him. But somehow Yooochun didn't think it was such a bad quality to have.

Junsu felt like he was being stared at, so he glanced up and met with Yoochun’s light brown eyes. Yoochun quickly looked away and concentrated back on the road. Then a few seconds later, they both heard a ringing sound from his side of the car. Yoochun noticed that it was his fuel tank. It was almost empty.

"I need to get more gas, do you mind if we stop at a gas station?" Yoochun questioned.

"If we both want to get home, I think it's the best thing to do," Junsu stated, returning to his phone.

Yoochun rolled his eyes at Junsu’s smart comment.

"NO!" Junsu cried out.

Yoochun grew curious and glanced at Junsu. "What?"

"I lost the whole game!" Junsu whined.

Yoochun scoffed in disbelief as he focused back on the road and searched for the nearest convenient store.

"Don't cry about it," he ordered. "You can always start over."

Junsu stopped pouting and glared at Yoochun.

Yoochun turned left and parked at the gas station. He pulled out his wallet to check how much money he had and then climbed out without saying a word to Junsu. He watched him as he entered the convenient store.

Junsu sighed deeply and put his phone back into his pocket. Then he began looking around his car to see if there was anything interesting inside. There were a few CDs in the slot underneath the stereo. He grabbed two or three and examined the titles and artists. Primary, Zion. T, Dynamic Duo.

"Hmm." Junsu put the CD's back into place. After doing so, he found something sticking out from underneath the bottom CD. Junsu glanced out the window to see if Yoochun was coming out, but he was still waiting in line. So he slipped it out to see what it was. It was a photo of a family of three. There was a mother, a father, and a little boy. The mother was beautiful with her dark brown wavy hair. She was dressed in a really nice and possibly expensive outfit with beautiful jewelry. The father was really handsome as he stood beside the woman in a striped suit and tie. Right in front of them, holding a certificate, was the little boy dressed in a nice white sweater with a collar and slacks. Junsu figured it was Yoochun. He recognized that smile.

Junsu glanced out her window when he noticed Yoochun coming back. He quickly put the photo back inside the slot and pulled out his phone. Yoochun watched as Junsu scrambled around in his seat and furrowed his eyes.

"What is he doing now?" Yoochun questioned as he reached the car. Junsu looked out the window and smiled at him. Yoochun just gave him a blank look and started preparing his gas tank.

After filling his tank with gas, he climbed back into his car. Junsu didn't say anything to him as he buckled his seatbelt. He just sat there quietly, focusing on the screen of his phone.

"What were you doing earlier?" Yoochun questioned.

"Huh?" Junsu replied.

"I saw you moving around, what were you doing?"

"Nothing," Junsu answered, looking up. "I was just looking at your music collection."

Yoochun gave him a look of suspicion. He had a feeling that Junsu did something wrong or was lying. So he glanced at the slot with the CDs and noticed that the picture of his family was out of place. It wasn't like that before.

"So you like Dynamic Duo, huh?" Junsu smiled.

Yoochun ignored Junsu’s question and pulled it out. "Were you looking at this?" he questioned.

Junsu’s eyes moved to the picture and pretended to be confused. "No," he lied. "I've never seen that picture in my life."

"Stop lying, Junsu."

"What makes you think I saw that picture?" Yoochun didn't answer. Junsu figured that it was pretty obvious so he gave in. "Fine, I was looking at it. What's the big deal? It's just a picture of you and your family." Junsu sighed deeply in disbelief. "Why are you hiding it anyways?"

"You're really nosy aren't you?" Yoochun questioned.

"I'm just wondering. It's a beautiful photograph," Junsu complimented.

Yoochun observed it himself. It was the day he received his award for his straight A's all through middle school. It was one of the last times his parents ever thought he'd make it out there in the world. He had it in his car to remind him that he wanted to be that kid again. The kid who wanted to make his parents proud. After several years of goofing off in high school and acting like he owned the world because he was wealthy and intelligent, made his parents lose the support they once had for him. They didn't believe that he was serious about anything anymore. His ego blew up after middle school and he lost touch of what they once thought he was. He really didn't show it, but he was always disappointed in himself for failing to fulfill his parents' dreams. He wanted to gain that support back and prove that he can make it out there. Which is why he's trying his best to make the cafe successful.

He placed the picture in the pocket of the door and started the engine. Junsu observed him as he zoned out in his own world and grew curious about the photograph. There was obviously something in that picture that made Yoochun act so touchy. Junsu sighed deeply, leaned back against the seat, and looked out the window at the busy city streets.

After a long quiet drive, they finally made it in front of Junsu’s town house. He unbuckled his seatbelt and checked the time on his phone.

"Thanks for the ride," Junsu stated as he reached out to open the door.

"You want to know why I have this picture?" Yoochun questioned, stopping him. Junsu turned to him curiously.

"Sure," Junsu answered.

"It's a reminder of who I used to be."

"A kid?"

Yoochun sighed deeply and shook his head. "I don't know why I'm telling you this, but I am," he began. Junsu furrowed his eyes at Yoochun and listened carefully. "When I was younger, I was a pretty serious kid. I made all A's in school and I respected my parents. I was still stubborn and demanding back then, but when I got older, I changed. I thought I was the king of the world. Popularity got the best of me. I had money, smarts and the looks. I just didn't care about what I wanted for my future because I thought I had everything already. So I didn't try. I got the grades, graduated, went to college, graduated. And after that, I just... I didn't try to be anything." He stopped and placed his arm over the steering wheel. "I slacked off for four years. My parents lost respect for me. And now that I have the café, I want to gain their respect back. The picture helps motivate me to be that kid again."

Junsu could see the vulnerability in Yoochun’s face. He couldn't believe Yoochun was actually being open about something to him. He wasn't the only one struggling to become something better. The stubborn, pompous jerk actually had a heart. And Junsu sympathized with him.

"You can be that kid again," Junsu stated. "Well an older version of him."

Yoochun lightly chuckled and stopped. "Who knows," he replied.

"I'll work hard for you. While you're helping me, I'll help you gain your parents' respect again," Junsu suggested.

Yoochun glanced at Junsu. "Are we making another deal here?"

"No. No deal," Junsu replied. "Everyone needs their family to support them, right? I'll just work harder so that the café can be successful."

Yoochun gave him a soft smile and sighed deeply. This was the first time they both actually had a real conversation about something. He leaned back against his seat and glanced past Junsu where he saw someone peeking through the curtains.

"Well enough with this serious talk, your family is waiting for you," Yoochun stated.

Junsu turned around where he found Saeyoung behind the curtains. He chuckled in disbelief and turned back to Yoochun.

"Thanks again for the ride," Junsu stated and opened the door of the car.

"I hope you're serious about working harder," Yoochun called out. "Just because I told you my little story doesn't mean I'm going to go easy on you."

"I never thought that for a second. I know I still have a lot of work to do on my part."

"I'll see you at work then," Yoochun stated.

"You too." Junsu waved goodbye and watched as Yoochun drove off. Then he turned around towards the door and patiently waited for Saeyoung to swing the door open. He figured she'd open it before he did especially since she was watching from inside.

Junsu smiled when she did. "You didn't take a cab?" Saeyoung questioned.

"Yoochun brought me home instead," Junsu answered as he entered the house.

"Is he going to be bringing you home from now on?"

"No, he's not. The cabs just weren't cooperating with me."

"Right," Saeyoung replied. "So let's continue our conversation from earlier. What exactly did that slut say to him?"

Junsu sighed and shut the door behind him.

--------------------

"She invited you to go to the club today and you're not going?" Geunsuk exclaimed as they played basketball out on Yoochun’s drive way with Changmin and Yunho on a Saturday afternoon.

"Why would I?" Yoochun replied, shooting a ball.

"Because she's hot!" Geunsuk retorted, catching the ball as it fell from the hoop.

"I still can't believe you're her type. I should've known," Changmin stated, pouting on the side.

Yoochun chuckled and battled over the ball with Changmin. "Well she's not my type. You guys can go if you want to get free drinks," he stated.

"But she wanted you to go. We won't get free drinks if you're not with us," Yunho retorted.

"Just go, Chun-ah. You don't even have to talk to her. I'll keep her busy," Geunsuk smirked, making a lay up.

"You?" Changmin complained. "I have better dance moves."

"Your jazz fingers are not something you'd impress a girl with," Geunsuk joked.

Yoochun chuckled as he stole the basketball and started dribbling it around the court. He didn't think it would be a bad idea to go out and get free drinks. But he was kind of worried about the consequences of going because of Boyoung. She was Junsu’s ex-best friend after all. Accepting the chance to hang out with her would cause Junsu harm especially since he trusts him in some kind of way. In order to avoid any confrontation in the future about this, he thought that it could be another lesson in their little project by bringing Junsu along.

"Let's invite the rest of the work crew," Yoochun suggested.

"Jaesuk hyung and Junsu?" Yunho questioned.

"No and yes. I think it would be a cool idea to get together after working so hard at the café."

"Junsu? Can he dance?"

"We'll just have to see," Yoochun stated.

"I think he can dance. He looks pretty flexible," Geunsuk commented.

Changmin chuckled and stole the ball away from Yoochun so that he could finally make a shot.

"What about Jaesuk hyung?" Yunho laughed. "He'd be fun to dance with."

"Yeah you would enjoy that, hyung," Yoochun responded. "I'll go call Junsu."

He walked up his patio and went inside his bachelor pad. He left his phone on the kitchen counter so he went to get it. Good thing it was inside because he didn't want to talk about the man project in front of the guys.

Yoochun dialed Junsu’s number and waited patiently for him to answer.

"Hello?" Junsu greeted.

"Hey, do you have any plans tonight?" Yoochun quickly asked, getting straight to the point.

"Nothing as of right now unless my mom needs me to work on some things," Junsu replied.

"Well we're having a get-together tonight with the work crew."

"Really? And you're inviting me to this event?"

"You're not interested?"

Junsu took a moment to think. He was sitting in his room flipping through the channels but couldn't find anything to watch because it was all sappy love stories. And he wasn't really in the mood to watch any of it.

"I didn't say I wasn't interested. I was just concerned because I'm going to stick out like a sore thumb," Junsu stated.

"Don't worry about that," Yoochun advised.

"Where will this get-together be located?"

"Club Heaven."

"A club? Are you joking?"

"No. It'll give you a chance to actually wear something decent for once."

"Is this another lesson?

"Maybe. So are you accepting this offer?"

Junsu sighed deeply and put a chocolate kiss in his mouth. "I don't know yet. I'm not the clubby type. But you said everyone from work is going?"

"Mmm hmm. It will be Changmin, Geunsuk, me and Yunho hyung if he decides to go."

"I guess I can," Junsu answered. "But one question, how will this help me evolve as a man?"

"It'll help you forget about all the mess in your life. Because I have a feeling that you haven't been having a lot of fun lately."

Junsu groaned as he looked at what he was doing at the moment. He was sulking in bed watching TV with a bag of chocolates beside him. It's practically what he’s been doing on his spare time since the break-up.

"Fine."

"Alright," Yoochun responded. "But you're only allowed one to two drinks. I don't want to have to suffer through another drunken night with you."

"Trust me; I will stay far away from the alcohol."

"Great. See you tonight."

"Wait!" Yooochun stopped himself before pressing the end button and put the phone back to his hear. "What exactly should I wear?"

"I'm not your stylist."

"But you know what you like to look like in these kinds of events. Suits? Jeans? Shirts? Long sleeves?"

Yoochun shook his head in disbelief. He craned his neck to see if anyone was coming inside and he sighed.

"I'm not one of your stylists, Junsu. Just wear something comfortable but different from your usual attire."

"Like what?"

Yoochun groaned, growing frustrated by him.

"Wear what you wore that night at the art gallery," Yoochun stated.

"But that’s a suit! Isn't that too elegant for the club?"

"I don't think it matters. Just wear anything decent, okay?"

"Fine. I'll try my best."

Junsu and Saeyoung went on a tiny shopping spree later that day with the hundred bucks their mom let them have. Luckily, Mrs. Kim was supportive enough to let Junsu go out and have fun for once. He’s been suffering too much from the break up. Junsu really needed to enjoy life instead of moping around and thinking about what could've been.

One of the greatest qualities Junsu loved about his little sister was her love for fashion. She always dressed cute outside of school and in school with all her extra accessories. Junsu just never thought about fashion as something essential in one's life. It was just clothes. As long as he was covered up in the right places, he was fine. But seeing that it was one of the issues that separated him from the rest of the other people in the world, he needed to fix that. If he didn't have his sister, he would be having a very hard time trying to figure what to wear for tonight's events.

"Here," Saeyoung stated, handing Junsu a silver chain bracelet. "This matches your outfit."

"Thanks, Youngie." Junsu turned to the mirror as he fixed his top. It was a netted top that had its left part open from the neck to the shoulder, leaving it hanging and exposing his left collar bone. The collar of the top had pointy spikes on them that made it look like a choker collar, giving Junsu an edgy look. It ended on his mid-thigh and Saeyoung matched it with very tight black leather pants that hugged his perfectly shaped butt, and black, calf length boots that had a lot of straps on it. The whole outfit went well with a black leather jacket. Junsu looked daring and sexy - something he hasn’t embodied for years.

"Aren't you glad you have me as your personal stylist?" Saeyoung asked as she adjusted the shirt on Junsu’s shoulders. “Gosh, if you weren’t my brother I’d totally date you right now.”

"Very glad," Junsu answered as he checked out his appearance on the mirror. His hair was styled to a tousled look. He had eyeliner put on him so that his eyes looked smoky and sexy.

"If only you dressed amazingly all the time then I wouldn't have to do this for you," she griped. "It's not easy having an older brother who can't dress himself."

"To save you from embarrassment, I'll try to wear something nice from now on."

"I'm not so sure you can even do that."

"Practice makes perfect, right?" Junsu stated. Saeyoung rolled her eyes.

Saeyoung watched as Junsu unconsciously fingered the single dangling earring which was a long chain that had a cross at the end of it. Looking at his reflection, it was like Junsu couldn't recognize the person in front of him -like it was someone completely different.

"This isn't too much is it?" Junsu questioned, noticing how the shirt really exposed too much of his shoulders and chest. "Because I feel like it's too much."

"You're going to one of the most popular clubs in the city with a bunch of hotter guys. You have to look hot!"

"What if I don't want to look 'hot'," Junsu replied, pouting at his reflection.

"Then you should just stay home," Saeyoung advised.

"Thanks for the support, sis," Junsu groaned, stepping away from the mirror.

"Are you going to use mom's car?"

"No, I'll take a cab."

Saeyoung stepped in front of the mirror and started playing with her long luscious hair. "I'm really jealous and surprised that you're actually going out clubbing. I would've never thought I'd see the day. And with a bunch of hot guys for that matter."

"I went a few times with Boyoung."

"But you always came home early. That's not clubbing."

"It's because I wanted to come home and spend time with-" Junsu stopped himself before he could complete that sentence. He was going to say Joongki because he spent most of his time with him for the past two years instead of going out. Junsu had no reason to go to a club because to him, it was a way to meet new people. Junsu already had that special person. He’d go to work, spend time with his family and sometimes Boyoung, and when Joongki came home from work he would spend time with him. That's just how it was. And now that extra free time he had was spent at home without that significant other. Junsu was empty.

Saeyoung noticed that her older brother stopped talking. She figured it was about Joongki. She sighed and turned away from the mirror. Then she walked up to Junsu.

"Just have fun, oppa," she advised. "You need it more than anyone in this world right now."

Junsu smiled at the kindness Saeyoung was showing him and pulled her into a warm embrace. "Thank you."

Saeyoung pulled apart from their embrace, weirded out from the sudden touchy sibling love and said, "Now go and make sure Changmin oppa doesn't talk to any other girls."

"Um, you two aren't even dating."

"That's why you should keep him from dating anyone else, k?"

Junsu rolled his eyes at his sister in amusement. "I'll see you later."

--------------------

Club Heaven is one of the most popular and newest establishments in night life. The place was advertised everywhere like the magazines and internet gossip columns. It was chic and modern. The DJ's were legit and always had the latest music. Even the under aged kiddos have been trying to sneak in to see what the place was all about. Yoochun never thought about checking the place out because he usually spent more time chilling and partying it up out of the city. And it was interesting how Boyoung had connections to one of the guys who worked there.

When all the guys arrived in front of the club, they noticed that the line was pretty long. They didn't see Boyoung yet nor did they see Junsu. They were supposed to meet up at ten, but it was already eleven and Junsu still hadn't showed up. But the guys looked extra attractive standing together like the flower four.

Yoochun wore a black tank top under a black blazer left open and paired it with grey ripped jeans that showed skin from the upper thigh down to the lower shin. Changmin wore chain necklaces and a loose white shirt under a black blazer that had flecks of grey all over it. Geunsuk wore a loose grey graphic tee with a blue, three-fourths blazer that had chains hanging from the shoulders and in contrast, Yunho wore a beige loose tank top and a white vest paired with white pants. All the girls standing in line and arriving were eying them like they were the club's models or something.

A group of girls even approached them with huge eyes and smiles. "Are you the guys who work at Prince Café?"

They all turned to them and nodded. "Yeah," Yoochun answered.

"Are you guys coming inside?"

"Yeah, we're just waiting for a friend."

"Really? Well then I guess we'll see you on the dance floor," the supposed leader of the group of four responded.

"Alright," Yoochun smiled as the girl giggled on their way into the club.

Geunsuk quickly stepped next to Yoochun and grabbed his elbow. "Can we go inside now? The females are waiting for us as you can see!"

"We can't leave Junsu hyung behind," Changmin stated. "We have to go in together since we're here as a group."

"Well you can wait for her, I need a drink," Yoochun stated.

"YES!" Geunsuk exclaimed.

"Are you serious?" Changmin questioned.

"He’s late. I don't think I can stand another minute out here waiting for that boy," Yoochun replied.

Changmin shrugged. "Whatever."

Yunho couldn't quite decide on whether to stay outside with Changmin or go inside with the others. Junsu was part of the group after all and he looked like he’d be lost in this type of atmosphere so he made his decision. "I'll stay here."

"Suit yourself," Yoochun stated as he and Geunsuk turned around where they noticed Boyoung squeezing through the door.

"You guys came!" she exclaimed. "Come on in!" Boyoung smiled, waving them inside.

"Those two will come in later," Changmin stated.

"Alright, I'll make sure they get in." And all three of them disappeared inside the club.

"She's so pretty," Changmin sighed as he turned away.

Yunho chuckled dryly. "Isn't that kind of cruel?"

"What is? Boyoung being pretty?" Changmin replied.

"No. Going here when she's around," Yunho explained.

"How is that cruel?"

"Don't you remember how Junsu acted at the mall? He said he had a bad past with Boyoung."

Changmin thought for a second. "But I wasn’t there when that happened.”

"Oh, well yeah. Things are not well between the two. "Yunho explained. "I don't think Junsu’s going to have fun. Whatever happened between those two, I don't think a club will ease the tension between them."

As they waited a few more minutes for Junsu, they saw a cab arrive at the curb next to them. The door opened and they watched as a leg stepped out. Then another one appeared and then a familiar person came out. Their eyes widened at the attractive young man. It was like they were seeing a completely different person right before their eyes.

Junsu shut the door and awkwardly adjusted his shirt which was exposing too much of his left shoulder. Then he glanced up and found his two co-workers looking at him in a way Joongki looked at him right before they went out for dinner.

Junsu shyly walked up to them and smiled. "Hi, I'm sorry I'm late," he apologized.

"Who are you?" Changmin questioned, eyeing him up and down.

Junsu looked at him confused. "I don't look familiar?" he replied.

"HYT is now an understatement," Changmin smiled, grabbing his hand. "Turn for me, hyung" he advised as Junsu slowly turned around awkwardly.

"You look amazing," Yunho complimented.

"Thanks," Junsu answered shyly.

"Let's go inside. I can't wait to see how Geunsuk hyung reacts when he sees you," Changmin exclaimed, placing his arm around Junsu’s shoulders.

"We'll see," Junsu answered. He looked over at Yunho and grinned at him. Yunho grinned back and gave him two thumbs up. All three entered with the bouncer allowing them to casually walk in.

It seemed like they were the VIPs of the club, walking in side by side. It made Junsu kind of feel awkward and shy to receive so much attention. He had two celebrity-like men beside him, so it was mostly their fault for the spotlight.

Yoochun and Geunsuk were at the bar with Boyoung when they all noticed the trio through the crowd.

Geunsuk eyes widened as he spit the drink from his mouth, the liquid landing on Boyoung’s light pink dress. Geunsuk quickly apologized and handed her a few napkins. "I'm sorry," he apologized. Then turned back to the three walking towards them. "Is that who I think it is?"

Yoochun furrowed his eyes as he slowly put his glass down on the bar. He thought he was seeing things. Was that the same person who wore jumpers and knee high socks out in public? His hair was styled and he could actually see the slender shape of Junsu’s body. Junsu definitely didn't look like the Junsu he knew before. He was impressed, but also kind of disappointed. He didn't know why he was because he was supposed to be thrilled to finally see Junsu in a different type of clothing. Why was he not 100% satisfied with this?
