(no subject)
Yay!! Class has started a few days ago and I'm finally settled in my cool apartment. I'm kinda used to everyone in the apartment now..hehe..but then since I'm not at home most of the time, I've realized that I don't actually get to see my suitemates all that often. But then when we do actually get to see each other, we would sometimes chit chat a bit on just random topics. The only odd-ball of the group is some mando guy who's apparently a researcher from China..he said that he's doin some kinda research at UCD and since he's divorced, his daughter stays with him every other week? Haha..so yah..our group is pretty diverse, in the sense that we've got some old guy living in the living room, a kiddo in elementary school, and 4 other ppl of my age, one of which is my suitemate's girlfriend who would come and stay over and stuff. Hehe..so yah..it was kinda weird at first, but now, I guess I see them as more like neighbors rather than strangers. =)
Anywayz..so class has been goin along fine SO FAR..I can't wait to finish O-chem! I've got class on Mon-Thurs, which isn't that bad I guess. But in order to compensate for the loss of a good 2 months' worth of time for labs, we've gotta do TWO labs in one day, which is equivalent to about 5 hours straight? Other than that, I'm happy. The professor's got this realli cool sense of humor..I'm so glad that he's teaching over the summer..and what do ya kno? This is the second time I'm taking his class. I hope everything goes well. =)
