Happy New Year!!!! I;m still having trouble commenting on yours still. It's me Gina btw. : )
Yes the pizza is definitely off here. And it's SO expensive here. Would you believe we don't have any deliver around where we live. Nothing, nada, zilch. : ( Where we used to live we had Pizza Hut deliver. But the menu was totally different but at least we had it. Here...nothing at all. : (
I think that is beyond awesome of you to make those keychains for the teachers and the fact they are homemade is totally better even. Very heartfelt. They will love those, I know.
Glad to hear hubby made it and the visit with your folks went very nice.
Yes, the shops closing at New years, total shocker-roo, right? My first year, umm nobody mentioned it. I went on Jan 2nd to get my weekly groceries. The store was closed. OMG! Finally went to a huge very expensive Aeon chain grocery and bought ridiculously overpriced food. Just enough to last a day or two. But wow...I learned from that one. Ha ha ha. : )
I'm so glad to have "met" you. You know what I mean. All the best for a wonderful 2012! xxx
that sucks that you don't have delivery! it's a good thing you make your own yummy pizzas right? i'm sure that your pizzas would taste ten times better than anything store bought, so yay for your maaad baking skillz! ^_~
lol, the keychains didn't come out as nice as i'd wanted them to, but i'll probably try and bling them up a little... dunno ^_^;;
the stores in Taipei close for Chinese New Years too, but recently, they've been staying open to pull in more business. i guess closing on the 1st is a tradition here, and working people do have to go see their families too. ^_^;; i just didn't put 2 and 2 together :P
the Internet has been a great place for meeting new friends like you and i'm also really glad that i stumbled over your blog ^_~ thanks for the comments, advice, and encouragement through all this time!! hope 2012 is even better than 2011 for you and your family!! <3
