Kay's 3rd birthday
i'm really wondering if all three year olds suddenly become bi-polar... :/ it seems like a constant roller coaster with mood swings of being really really happy to really terrible. she have a tantrum in the mornings and then after ten minutes of screaming her lungs out, a small lecture and a hug later, she's back to her happy go lucky self again :P it's not like that every day, but at least 2-3 times a week.
some good things about her turning 3 is that she's really able to communicate her thoughts better than before, but with that comes the constant urge to ask "why?". ^_^;; she's gotten into the habit of asking "何で?" ("nan de?") after almost everything her daddy says, which annoys the heck out of him :P
anyway, we didn't really do much to celebrate her birthday since neither of us had much time on our hands. i actually celebrated her birthday with cake and candles last week on a playdate with Michelle, and that's when Kay got her first birthday present: a pair of pink checkered Dora high tops :D she was really excited about them and got to wear them on her actual birthday when hubby and i took her out for a small birthday lunch. later, we bought a small sponge cake to celebrate that night and opened presents then.
she got quite a lot of gifts this year both from family and friends :) we all want to thank everyone for the birthday wishes and presents!! it's really touching to see how many people out there care about her :D thanks guys!
