happy 2nd birthday to Kay!!
i cannot believe that my little Kay is 2 years old now!! it's like she just turned 1 yesterday! i know it's really cliche to say that time is just going by too fast, but it's so true :P
i dunno if it's the sudden change in me working and not being able to put all my attention on her or if it's just the turn in the terrible twos direction has affected her personality, but she sure is very opinionated now. let's just say that she really tests my patience EVERY day opposed to once in a while before she turned 2. although, there are still times when she's a perfect angel and is the sweetest little thing, doing anything she can to get a smile or a laugh or a hug out of me :)
now before i forget, i've been meaning to list some likes and dislikes she's developed so that i don't forget later on. as far as food goes, she's recently fallen in love with jello, a.k.a. "pudding" in TW. she'll eat anything that's gelatin, even if it's in flavors she tends not to like, like orange or lemon. a constant like of hers would be water spinach. she'll be wishy-washy with other vegetables, liking them one day and hating them the next, but she'll always manage to clean her plate of her spinach :) on the other hand, a constant dislike of hers, no matter how i prepare it, is eggs. i dunno where she gets this one from because both hubby and i love eggs... :/ on another note, Kay will do anything for ice cream, popsicles (or ice-pops as we call them) or nursing time, so they are my key bribe items when i need for her to do what she's told. oh, and i recently found out that she likes orange sherbet. :) oddly enough, she doesn't like funky colored things as food. for instance, she'd prefer plain Cherios to Fruit Loops or Pops to Apple Jacks.
other odd bits would be that she's horrified by bugs and the sound of keys in the hallway outside our apt, but she likes ladybugs and playing with keys. :P hmm, i think that's all i can think of off the top of my head for now...
