last weekend was my first mother's day. we also spent time to celebrate
Kay turning 10 months old (gawd,two more months before she's 1 years old!). we actually didn't do much out of the ordinary. we went out for lunch on Saturday to Ootoya, which was nice because there weren't that many people (we had gotten there early). Kay had udon noodles and she liked them very much. i'm giving her a little bit of our table food now that she's 10 months old. i'm so glad that she's getting older so she can actually eat with us when we have a meal.
afterward we did a small donut celebration at the nearby Mister Donut and promptly went home after she accidentally spilled cream all over herself and our diaper bag. can't blame her though since i was the one who gave her those little cream packets (you know, the ones for your coffee)to play with ^_^;;
later that night, Saito-san (being the sweet husband he is) went out and surprised me with a
little cake. as far as food goes, i can't really tell between something that's really good or just mediocre (that's why i'm so not picky and i don't really like anything expensive because i can't appreciate it). so simple is best, which is what he got me ^_^
right now, he's in Japan getting ready for a big exam and won't be back until next Tuesday. i miss him... ;_;
