I swear, it seemed like a good idea at the time. Don't click on this expecting great and awe inspiring things, okay? I'm allowed to drabble how (and on what) I want!
Oh you KNOW it was that peacock green dress. That's just how I roll, bb. And Homecoming...is basically an event that is compromised of an American football game and a dance and people who have graduated from the school are supposed to come back home and see everybody and party. It’s not that cool, really, but I went to my Homecoming and its game this last Friday and Saturday. We lost our game on Friday, but I looked kind of cute on Saturday, I may post pictures later? Maybe? BUT, MOVING ON.
Me and fandom have had a bad relationship lately, I understand what you’re getting at. I’m not a literary master or anything, and I just do this for fun, but I try to make my stories coherent at the very least. But whatever, I’m becoming really antisocial online lately, like really. and in regards to that subjest, I’ve come to the realization that personally, for me, writing-wise, vague pr0n is the best way to go. it was definitely a trial and error process.
I’m sorry that you only have my fics to look forward to, we all see how often I post. So my wife, to stave off the loneliness, buy that shawl and stand out on a cliff looking dramatically out onto the see. It may help? With the imagery, at least?
Oh! So that's what it is. American football looks SCARY XD Yeah, please, post pictures. Wanna see who I'm waiting here ... for? My English kills me often usually sometimes.
Ah~ I've just returned from Moscow. I was in Kremlin like... 4? 5 times? and it's always cool and all, but yesterday I was super lucky and I could visit the Diamond Fund (http://almazi.net/index.php?page=screenshots&lang=eng - there are only 5 items as example there, but photos are nice). It is shockingly beautiful. I never wanted a diamond ring or something in my life, but to see all that was amazing. But you know, if you ever, ever decide to visit Russia you must find somebody (me, for example XD) who lives there. The prices are crazy for foreign tourists.I counted and some things are cheaper in 12 (twelve!) times if you can ask for them in Russian X(.
you know, there is one thing, that I want to ask: is my punctuation crazy for English-speaking people? I know Russian variant really well, but... I think it's different, because I never see commas before "because" in English phrases X) Or colons. I do not see colon in English texts often.
Vague pr0n is the best to read. It's hot all the same and I can enjoy reading it without details. Of course I mean well written things, not the 95% of fanfiction. Sure I read pure pr0n often, but I do not keep links of it. Sometimes I am able only to laugh at story and author, you know the feeling, don't you?
Mom gave me shawl. I would like grey, or dark blue, or brown one (to be really dramatic, you know =D), but it is bright red, so I can be only super optimistic wife. The one that waits her captain with some new story from ocean navigation with flowers and tambourine.
I will look forward to your new works even if you don't post often. One of the famous Russian poets (famous in Russia only, I'm afraid, though she was really good), Marina Tsvetayeva, wrote that her poems, like precious vines, are waiting for their time. There can not be any urgency in writing. To create something talanted takes time. Even if you write 150 word drabble, and it takes only 4 minutes, it does not mean that it was fast process.
Yes, American football IS scary. I strongly believe that there are reasons girls shouldn't play it -- my friends call me sexist when I say things like that, lol, what? I didn't know you could be sexist against your own sex. And okay, as soon I make a picture group to narrow down who in my flist can see me, unless I get too lazy to do that, I'll post for you soon. your English is really good, don't be so hard on yourself.
Woooow, that's really super impressive. We don't have any cool things like that in America cuz our country is so young. D:
I don't know about going to Russia any time soon (12 times?! that's a lot! @^@), I'm pretty sure my parents are drawing the line at China this summer and probably for next, uh, rest of my life - it's six thousand dollars, that's a lot of money, I need to get a job so I can help pay for it!
no, your punctuation is...actually...kind of better than mine... D| I'm not an expert on these things, but as for the comma before "because", it's not improper. Like, if you were saying, 'I like gravy on my potatoes, because it's tasty.' in comparison with 'I like gravy on my potatoes because it's tasty.' it's totally fine. there's probably some English grammar rule about which is proper and whatnot, but most people would vary in writing it either way depending on the emphasis they add in the phrase and on what words. Basically, it's cool, your punctuation isn't at a point where English speakers would stop and stare and freak out over it. and colons and semicolons aren't frequently used unless you want to use them? they're kind of like optional punctuation? some people don't know when you can and can't use them? no one cares if you use them or not, let's say that. and you use them well, so :D!
Yes, I know what you mean and I know the feeling. I have moods when I want to read pure pr0n too~
That's a coincidence, that she gave you a shawl, unless you mentioned it to her? It's okay that it's red, I'll settle for a super optimistic wife over an overly dramatic one if you'll be mine all the same.
I LOVE YOU BECAUSE OF YOUR WAY WITH WORDS. IT'S SO CUTE IN A REALLY TOUCHING AND PHILOSOPHICAL WAY. AND YOU GET ME. SO SO WELL.
I'm spamming, but I love to chat with you nearly as much as I love you yourselfayrayOctober 18 2008, 17:54:28 UTC
No, I think you are right. I believe with my whole soul, that guy must stand up if there is one chair in the room and girl enters. Or in the bus. Or he must take all heavy things that she's holding. Some professions are not for women. Sure, some of females might want to change their oh so sad fate and shift stone blocks, instead of leaving this doubtful pleasure to men, but that's really stupid. Though, I'm not blind, and I see that gender discrimination exsists and all that. But here where I live we do not pay much attention to such things. Maybe, that's because in Russia women got their civil rights (the same as for men) in 1917, earlier than in US and most of European countries. And, as the life in USSR in that time (actually, I think, till 1960 or so) was very hard, they worked as much as men. There was no women who sat at home with children. They all worked somewhere. When you work as much as your husband it's harder for him to be, you know, the oppressor of females XD
Well, all of jewels in Diamond Fund were made not earlier than in 18th century, though 7 of diamonds in collection have longer history. Really old, pre-Romanov, crowns are in Kremlin Armory. They are also very pretty, but they are more in Russian tradition: colorful, with much gold and fur, with different gems. Like this one http://heraldry.hobby.ru/pict/monomakh.jpg or that one http://heraldry.hobby.ru/pict/kazan.jpg
If you will, let me know =). And I suppose that all your expenses can be reduced to tickets to Russia (can't even imagine how much, really) and from Moscow to St.Petersburg (this week it cost me less than USD 60.00 there and back). Oh, 6000 to China is really expensive. I suppose, tickets make much of this sum, don't they?
in Russian punctuation almost all commas, colons, dash, semicolons are necessary in all the exact places, and not to just make "pause" in text. So it's a must to put comma before because, if, when, where, than, but, as and so on, and all other rules are difficult too (and all that exceptions T_____T)
I mentioned shawl to her mostly because it's october and already cold here XD You have no choice, I'm already super optimistic, can't help it. Last winter I was in cosplay of "Gankutsuou (The Count of Monte-Christo)", and I was Eugenie, and it was necessary to make sad face, and this => http://static.diary.ru/userdir/2/8/2/4/282450/33692332.jpg - was my best dramatic photo. And I hate it to death. It's UNNATURAL for my face. Almost all other pictures were neutral because of that. Or NG. I had MANY NGs. Like this one => http://static.diary.ru/userdir/2/8/2/4/282450/33692350.jpg - so very OOC for Eugenie, I'm afraid XD
I love you more. I insist. Cute again. Awww~ ♥ I'm too old to be cute, but I'm also too exhausted to keep fighting. Touching? Philosophical?! Why?!!!! XD If I get you, I shall keep you. And I shall, you'll see!!!
