A/N: I've been super busy! I was preparing for a con but now it's over and I'm free...kind of. Anime Expo is in a few weeks, KCON is in August(not sure if I'm going), and I have another con at the end of August so I don't think things are going to calm down anytime soon(because I have work on top of that). I've been working on other fics instead of this neglected jellybean too, sorry but I hope you enjoy this update
Minho wanted to be angry about Kibum stealing his first kiss but it was nice. Kibum's lips were soft, warm and made him have a tingling sensation in his chest. Anger was far from what he was feeling. Kibum pulled away with a shy smile that was both unlike but so uniquely Kibum.
He sat staring at the other in a state close to aw. He licked his lips, a fruity taste, cherry. "What?"
"Let's go to the baseball game." Kibum said his smile turning Minho into a puddle, "I want to go with you."
He nodded dazed. "Ok."
Kibum slid off of his desk, "Good, then we can get something to eat afterwards."
That's how Minho found himself once again on the train with Kibum. He was going to be in trouble for skipping out on weight training but he couldn't bring himself to care. Talking with Kibum on the train, as weird and crazy as yesterday felt that's how nice today felt. The game turned out to be more fun than he originally thought. He hadn't been to a baseball game in at least a year. Kibum was utterly clueless and didn't mind Minho's long winded answers to his endless questions. It felt like they were friends.
"I'll never get sports," Kibum sighed as the exited the stadium. He checked his phone, "Do you mind if we have a rain check on the food?"
"Huh?" He blinked, "Something happen?"
Kibum nodded, "Onew-hyung needs to crash at my place. He got called off early."
"Does he stay over often?" Minho asked.
"Just when he needs too," Kibum stretched his arms. "I don't know if I'll be at school tomorrow. Text me."
"I don't have your number."
"Yes you do," Kibum smirked, "I put it in myself."
Minho frowned pulling out his phone, "Under what?" Kibum didn't answer but it didn't take long for Minho to see an unfamiliar contact, "Jagiya?"
"I changed it from Kibum when you went to the bathroom." Kibum replied.
"But when did you put it in my phone?" Minho said confused.
"When you let me borrow it in detention," Kibum smiled, "I knew you were a special person right away. I have a sense for these things."
"Do you?"
He nodded, "Yup but it helped that I think you're good looking too."
Minho turned away embarrassed and changed the subject, "So your parents don't mind him staying over?"
"I don't live with my parents."
Minho nodded, "Oh are they over seas? My father had to work over seas for a year when I was younger."
"No, my father lives in Seoul too." Kibum replied, "We just don't live together."
"What about your mother?" Minho asked frowning.
"Dead."
"Oh," His head hung low as they walked and he regretted bringing it up, "I'm sorry."
"It's not a big deal," Kibum smiled, "I've made my peace with that."
Kibum became quiet, not quiet like when he was sleeping in class. Minho didn't have a way to describe it but it was like the sun had left him. As they got closer to the station Minho tried to start conversation again.
"Do you want me to copy notes for you?" Minho asked. "I have cram school tomorrow so I'll be able to do it."
"Nah, don't worry about me," Kibum smiled and shook his head, "You're such a good boy Minho."
"I thought your goal was to corrupt me?"
Kibum nodded without hesitation, "It is but I like when you're good too."
"You could be good too," Minho commented as they reached the station.
"Don't joke around," Kibum scoffed, "I've been bad news since the day I was born."
"Well you took me to a baseball game," Minho shrugged, "I think that makes you good."
"No because I'm expecting you to treat me in return." Kibum smirked, "Are you heading home now?"
"My parents will be expecting me soon."
"Ok, I'll be leaving first then," He replied, "See you later Minho."
He waved watching Kibum head out the station, most likely to catch a cab. Minho rode the train alone, taking the time to think carefully. He'd had a good time with Kibum, no a great time with Kibum. Kibum had taken the time to find out what things Minho liked and treated him. If it weren't for Minho's first impressions of Kibum he would never suspect that Kibum got into fights, smoked...was, well, bad. It made him feel hopeful that maybe the good boy lurking in Kibum was much closer to the surface than he originally thought.
He exited the train thinking about his first kiss, about how his heart sped up, about the soft firm feel of Kibum's lips, about his beautiful smile and the dimple Minho couldn't help but find adorable. Kibum, exciting, dangerous, mysterious, wonderful, spontaneous, sweet Kibum. Everything about him made Minho feel conflicted.
He arrived home to his parents and brother waiting for him. He frowned, "Did something happen?"
"Have you started dating?" His brother asked sending him into a horrified state. He knew something bad would come of missing training two days in a row but he hadn't expected this.
AN: Once again sorry, sorry for lack of updates. I'm pretty swamped preparing for events when I'm not working. I'll try to have another update of this or another fic before AX destroys me. Thanks for reading~
