Yesterday, after work i routinely went to thai mama for some food. After purchasing my dinner, i went to the supermarket next to it which is also owned by thai mama. Upon strolling the only 2 aisle in the store, i came across a bunch of coconuts. At that moment i had a craving for it, and i was like 'wuu that would be a nice drink!' When i got home, i grabbed the biggest knife i had and started choppin away. Little did i know that it takes more then a dull knife to open a coconut. Frustrated, I began to try smaller knifes but it won't budge. My friend online found these websites to help me go through this ordeal, but i didn't have the equipment to open a coconut. I didn't have a hammer, or straw watsoever. I was at the moment of giving up when my friend suggest me to throw it out the window and see if anything would happen to it. I did thought about if a moment, then my asian drive kicked in and i grabbed a chopstick from my drawer, and a saucer pan. I jammed that mother f**ker into the coconut and started hackin at it with the pan, sorry the need for those words were necessary. It finally worked the 2nd time, and i eagarly let it drip in to the cup. That cup and a half was one of the best coconut juice i ever had in my life.. haah, not as good as the ones in bangkok, but it was up there in the rankings. Little things lisa, little things... a lesson well learned. Next time i know what to do.. Haaaii YAaaa!
