Last few weeks have been pretty sweet. My job rules, still. I've been reading more and I've seen a few movies.
+Bukowski- I had never read anything by Bukowski until about a week ago when I picked up Notes of a Dirty Old Man. This book is odd but very addictive. It's a colmination of a notes and short stories and none of them collate with one another. Most are, sort of, loosely based on Bukowski's life (and his alcoholism). I started Post Office and hope it's as good as people say.
+Half Price Books- I acquired the new Sweet Cobra record for 6 dollars and got Some Bruce Springsteen records, in decent condition, for a quarter. This place definitely makes me happy.
+/-Going back to school- The thought of this one makes me super excited and terrifies me to death. I feel that need to be more responsible, but I am really anxious about making this huge step, because I dont want to fuck it up this time.
+Costa Rica- Really excited to go this summer. Potentially going to be in June, still looking for 2 more people to come along.
+/-The Orphanage- Pretty good movie, although certain things just dont make sense. I mean, I get the movie, but still. It is definitely worth seeing, I just think about movies too much.
+India Palace- This place just opened up about a mile away from the house. It's amazing, they have a lunch buffet everyday with 4-7 vegetarian options. For 8.50 it's amazing!
Here's to hanging out with new people and old and enjoying what you have.
