Trentham Estate Pinot Noir 2003 (Australia)

"This cup means the new covenant by virtue of my blood. Keep doing this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me."

The first thing I noticed about this Pinot was the aroma of honey, raisins and dates. The murky color reminds me of a sunset storm. It tastes like cinnamon and tulle and chamomile flowers, and goes down like satin.

(It's a screwcap and I bought it because it was cheap; I braced myself before tasting it. Now I know how unfair I was being.)
