If you want to drink umeshuu, well, you'd better fly to Japan. If that isn't an option, you could try Gekeikkan "Japanese Plum Wine," which resembles a cheap Chinese port knockoff, or Kikkoman's Plum Wine; I tried the latter for the first time tonight.
A wine only by name, this ruby colored liqeuer smells like cherries or fruit punch Snapple, and the taste is a close match to authentic Japanese umeshuu. It isn't wine, but a glass will transport you to spring in Japan, cherry blossoms and all.
