Hamburg, 23 November
Last month, I took this little boat cruise around Hamburg.
I'd done it before, but not in winter, when they serve mugs of mulled wine for €2.
You see all these huge houses with landscaped terraces... ducks...
And lots of people in various kayaks and the like.
It's one of the prettiest places I've ever been.
Here's me! A little jet-lagged and quite cold, but having fun.
Next we wandered around festive Hamburg.
It was all Christmassy. People were shopping, strolling.
Going into little taverns like this, which weren't quite there my last visit.
