Almost Summer
So I finally put the summer tires onto my car. First thing I noticed is that there is less road noise, and the car feels a bit better. I actually changed the tires at my friend's house and we did some catching up afterwards. I was a bit wary at first, even though I've done this before... the reason is that the last time I did this, I had a momentary lapse of common sense and forgot the adage "Right tighty, lefty loosey." Needless to say, I've had the experience of needing a hub restudded :-P.
I received a letter from Canadian Blood Services a few days ago, and they thanked me for the donation. They also told me that my blood type is O positive, which puts me in with 39% of Canadians. I checked a blood chart and I'm able to donate to any positive blood type, and I can only receive blood from O type donors. Interesting!
