And I don't believe so, though everyone keeps claiming it's Earth. It's certainly not New Caprica.

Could it be because it is a common ground and an easy assumption to make? And I'm afraid I'm not familiar with New Caprica.

I imagine it's probably a Cylon experiment. Not that I expect you to claim to know what a Cylon is. Even though for all I know, you do, and are simply trying to drive me mad.

And I find the idea of 'Earth' being anyone's common ground more than a bit preposterous.

No. No one's established much of anything. The place seems largely composed of blithering idiots and actual madmen.

That much I can confirm. I've also encountered two people I knew previously here. Though they seem to have large lapses in memory regarding recent events.

From where we come from. Which is the Twelve Colonies, originally, though following the Cylon Holocaust, we've been relocated to New Caprica, so to speak.

It's been three years since the Fall of the Colonies.
