Apparently this is all the rage nowadays. Basically you go to Wikipedia, put in your date of birth (minus year), and list three historical events, two births, and one death that occurred on that date. So here you go.

Historical Events -

1939 - Canada declares war on Nazi Germany.

1972 - The United States loses its first international basketball game in a disputed match versus the Soviet Union at Munich, Germany.
