A Melange of observations
The good:
Summer. Bleak nigh-unending winter have made me appreciate summer. Yesterday I walked outside dressed all in white and broke out into a stupid grin when the sun's rays fell on me. I think next time I go to Downtime (probably to see VAST), I am going to rock the all white outfit.
Creative euphemisms, in a newspaper article (this one from the Times): "Genghis is said by contemporary historians to have labored assiduously in his large harems."
The bad:
People who yell things along the lines of "fuck yeah", during NIN's Hurt. It is the least appropriate song for outbursts of exuberant idiocy.
Trying to figure out a metric to distinguish numerous law firms other than gross ones like (I heard X was your pay and Y was bonus last year).
The ugly:
The idiot who thinks "from the producers of White Chicks" is a compelling reason to go out and see an upcoming release. As well as the idiots who will go see it.
