I suppose it should have occurred to me that with Halloween falling on a Sunday, trick-or-treaters might show up on Saturday. But noooo.......By some amazing stroke of luck, the number of kids who showed up were the exact same number as the pieces of Halloween candy I had left over in the cabinet from last year. Minutes later I was in line at CVS with everyone else who wasn't expecting trick-or-treaters tonight. Of course, no one else rang the bell the rest of the night...
