i think that was the loudest apple i've ever eaten. seriously, that was kind of annoying.

if i had a dollar for every time i said, "just gotta get through this week. the next week will be better - less stress. next week" i could buy world peace. ok, so perhaps not. but i could at least buy a few wild cherry pepsi's or lime cokes.

this week is/was slated to be nasty, but it's partially over already. yay!

monday - flute lesson that i hadn't really practiced for due to a paper that was due last week and parents weekend last weekend. i was nervous. but it turned out to be a kickin' lesson if i do say so myself. except that my flute is broken again. rawr. that's annoying. and the american music (or "music and arts" if you want to be all up-with-the-times-and-changing-politics-of-american-music) repair guy will never again make an appearance at marching band rehearsal again. this is a mixed blessing. while i can no longer get my flute fixed for free, i will not have to go to marching band until nov. 10th. woo! i'm a fan of taking a break from marching band. we're still friends though. sitrus and i were in a fight last night when it went until way later than it was supposed to, but i can't be mad at free SU basketball for very long.

tuesday - music history test this morning. it went well, regardless of how badly i thought i was going to do. my first test was abnormally bad so i hope this balances everything out. katy, lauralong, jonny, and myself had an impromptu study party last night in 523 - it was both helpful and hilarious. much love, future 955-ers.

wednesday - theory quiz (this is a lower priority seeing as it's just a quiz). also a sax lesson that, again, i haven't practiced for due to reasons described above. ugh. time. where does it go? (except when it comes to "fall back" daylight savings time like this weekend. then i don't care.)

thursday - neuroscience test. i'm scared. i'm doing well in the class thus far, but this test seems harder for some reason. i don't know. i should also be more nervous about this than i am right now. i think i'm still in that happy mood about having one test out of my life that i'm completely forgetting about this one. except i'm not. also, guitar lesson. we're going for 45 minutes this time seeing as he totally forgot about me last time. i'm a huge fan of guitar lessons so this is cool. except once again, to follow this stellar trend i've got goin on, i haven't practiced. oh well. hans has a lesson before me so dr. meyer will be updated about my life according to neuroscience.

friday - we have friday off because SU wants PR points. i don't know of anyone else who gets Eid ul-fitr off. either way, just like the last religious holiday SU had off, i'll be at nottingham high school observing ray sturge. sleeping in one of these days would be cool.

other than all of that, life is going well. i'm stoked to get to the end of the week. greg has a show on friday which'll be fun. i didn't see any zamboni shows last semester (for clinton kids, zamboni revolution is an improve comedy troupe). saturday there's a women's game at manley and THAT'S IT! that's my only commitment this weekend, and that's not really one at all. there's no huge assignment due for the next few weeks, no marching band for two weeks...life will be awesome when this week is over. i'm psyched.

i hope everyone is well, and i thank you if you read everything. this was just a way for me to procrastinate. all my best to everyone.

(p.s. - it was really awesome at the beginning of the day but then it got cloudy and rainy. thanks, cny)

p.p.s - if you're not a 'cuse kid, it is also necessary to see katy's most recent livejournal entry because it is 1) amazing 2) exciting.

catch-up
