Simple Pleasures
The end is in sight.
I've been killing myself trying to get homework done so that I can graduate. And I'm almost there. Just a little bit longer. 1 book report, 1 exegetical project, 1 2-page paper on a subject of my choosing, and that's it. Plus finals, but I'm not stressed about those. I test well.
You know what I love to do on the weekends? Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights I love to fall asleep watching a movie in my room. Now that I have my new macbook (my graduation gift from my folks), I can lay in bed and watch until I drift off, and it doesn't matter if the movie keeps me up for a little while, because I don't have to get up at 5:30 the next morning.
I'm so ready - so ready! - to be done with school. Maybe I'll sign up for grad school someday, but that's still several years off in the future.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go watch a chick flick until I start snoring.
