Friday:-
The day started early for us even tho the BBQ wasn't till the evening, I had to head down to the coast to pick up the T-Shirts, which the less said the better for now.
On return food was organised and we headed off to Southbank to get things set up, people began showing up from 4pm onwards and we got a bigger turnout then expected (luckily we over stocked with food!) a few new faces turned up and introductions were made , tails and ears started appearing,
MistyStriker marko_the_rat,and
marcwolf donned their suits, which were a big hit with the many tourists and kids in the area.
Saturday:-
Australia Zoo day
we managed to get away on time, enough people had cars that we were able to travel up convoy style.
once we had all paid and entered the group split up and went separate ways, meeting up at various times for food and groups to reform and split up again
we cant stop here....
Saturday night dinner
Dinner went well even if a few "extra" people showed up. Drake dealt with understandably annoyed management who were only expecting half the number that showed up before managing to get his dinner
Sunday:-
Sunday morning was sleep in and recover for most of us, a basically lazy day
rise and shine!
Laserforce had the biggest turn out as was expected and planned for
Once the new players had their membership cards sorted out we were off, A few normal games were played to get everyone familiar with the controls and playing area and then a few special games were played.
We played Capture the flag, canines Vs felines Vs everyone else (canines won) Shadows and Wedlock (you have to find your partner and team up with them)
much pizza was also eaten.
Monday:-
Aussie's choc cooking class
this was loads of fun, much funny looking chocolate was made ,
aussiehusky divided attendees in groups, gave us recipes and ingredients and stood well back ;)
Kazcougar showing us how its done
Monday afternoon bowling
we split everyone up in teams and who needed bumpers and didn't.
All in all a good time was had by all (we hope) and we are looking at doing it all again next year!
Big thanks go out to everyone who supported, encouraged and helped us, to AussieHusky for doing the choc cooking classes and all the interstate furs who came along *hugs* to you all.
Also thanks go to the ones who said it couldn't be done and wouldn't happen, without you guys we may have given up at some points.
