Hey guys.... Guess what.
I got a job
at
THE SECOND CITY!
Woot, yes six nights a week I'll be a host/dishwasher/grunt worker (i.e. everyone's bitch) at the legendary Second City theater in Chicago, IL. Yippie. I get shitty pay, but benefits include free soda/cocoa/tea/cider/ice cream, 12 friends and family comps for shows per year, free admission to a nearby movie theater (woot, I'd been missing being able to afford movies), and also maybe later I can apply for an internship and then take classes for free. The people I'm working with seem pretty nice and cool. They go out every night after the shows, so I guess I have a built in social life now (wooo woo, I'd been lacking in that dept.)
Also I'll still be working days at Bath and Body works.
OMG, our heat bill is soo high this month, and we don't even keep our apartment very warm. :(
