Well, well, well...where do I begin? Today I am officially unemployed and I love it! Brad left two weeks ago for Tampa. I am proud to say that I can handle being independent. All the things I had anxiety about prior to him leaving, were not really an issue. I miss him a lot and that makes me feel good, because I was worried I would enjoy him being gone. The kids are handling it ok, although they have their moments. Especially Dusty. He called Brad last night because he couldn't sleep. He told him that it was because he was missing him too much. I gave him a shirt of Brad's that he left behind to sleep in and that seemed to help. I have a lot more energy these days which is good because the house has to be spotless in case someone comes to look at it. It's been on the market for a week now and not one person has stopped by. The sooner we sell this place the sooner, we can get to Tampa. All this energy is a result of a CPAP machine. On one hand it is a blessing that Brad is in Tampa and I am here because this mask and the tubing looks ridiculous! Not very "romantic". Not that my snoring was or occasional "not breathing" moments because of sleep apnea. Just one more reason to get off my ass and exercise. All this free time and you'd think I'd be doing laps around the neighborhood. I have the great Mike McGee's attitude towards that! "Running makes me sad"! I can relate to so much of his stuff today. I was a bit depressed this morning (despite not having to go to work) so I checked in on my buddy Mike. If you don't know this guy, you HAVE to check him out. His website is www.mikemcgee.net I promise you will not be disappointed. I had the pleasure of seeing him live in California. My sister, Arrykah did a show with him. She is also a spoken word poet. She is definitely more serious, but Mike, omg!
