Another job interview
Well, I have another job interview. This is the only the third
phonecall I've made and the second time I've gotten an interview
immediately, which I'm rather enjoying. (The other time the job was
only for federal-work-study students, so I couldn't get it.) It's
working for Maxim Healthcare temporarily, doing paperwork for flu
shots. I found out about it through my girlfriend's roommate('s
cousin's uncle's ex-wife), and it apparently only pays $9-10/hr, and not the $15 that I originally thought and feared was incorrect. Anyway, I have an interview/orientation/training
tomorrow at 2:30, so be sure to pray for me!
Also, I've discovered that there are a ton of state-work-study jobs in the "business" section, all of which are secretarial basically. I could easily do anything of them and, depending on how this interview goes and whether I get that other job that I applied for, plan to apply for as many of them as still have positions open. So yeah.
Finally, I'm planning on going to the "Ravnica: City of Guilds" release event for Friday Night Magic on Friday. I'm going to play in the draft. After my last 4-1 in Standard, I'm quite arrogant about my ability to do well in draft, a format in which I am much stronger. I also have the advantage of experience since I went to the pre-release. I'm interested to see how many people come. Probably the prize structure will be crap again and I won't get anything (unless I get the random promotional FNM card!), but I still hope to lose no more than one match. Wish me luck all!
