Your deck looks pretty good. Just to second what's already been said, I think Clone is the better pick, too. Armored Ascension was much more insane in its original printing because decks were monocolor. Not that it isn't still ridiculous (especially with less targeted removal running around), but you never know how many plains you'll end up being able to play.
As for the trading discussion, I tend to take a William approach to trading. Unless somebody is only looking for my big $$$ cards, and they have absolutely nothing of value to offer, I'll try to make trades just to make them. Granted, I'm not generally trying to build specific decks, either. I could never get trades when I was a kid because I never had the specific cards people wanted, and that's frustrating for both people. Things tend to even out over time, so I don't sweat the prices a ton.
