Right now gay marriage is a hot issue, even hotter, I think, than it was four years ago. Although people like me who believe that a marriage can only be between a man and a woman are in the majority, even in liberal California, the recent amendment in California that ended several months of gay marriage in that state have led to widespread protests on the part of gay marriage advocates. With all their activism, my fear is that in two years California will repeal the amendment and other states, like New York, may also redefine marriage, and people who think like me will find themselves suddenly in the minority. . . .
