Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: A test screening experience and review

This review contains only mild spoilers (unless you haven't read the book!) and is based on the first test screening of the movie to a group of 300 people who were not even told beforehand exactly what they were going to see! According to this reviewer, the movie looks very good and the reviewer was definitely not uncritical or simply a gushing fan. To summarize his points: he thinks that this movie is more faithful to the books than previous movies have been and that many scenes are almost word-for-word from the book. He thinks that Hermione and Dumbledore play closer to their book counterparts than in any of the movies since the original. He also thinks that Dumbledore's death is very well done and much more memorable and dramatic than Sirius's death in the previous movie. All in all, the review is so positive, and yet not gushing or un-critical, that I am even more excited than ever! If only it hadn't been delayed!
