My love for Alan Moore knows no bounds. However, this love also makes me nauseas at the prospect of
Watchmen becoming a movie. Alan Moore's exceptional writing has been the victim of screenplay adapters several times already. These writers get Alan Moore's stories and dialogue on the table and then eat away at the perfect body of it, much like

I was so disappointed with "LXG" especially the way they added Tom Sawyer to have a character the american audience can relate to...I mean really, come on!!!!!
From Hell I liked, but I'd never read the graphic novel so I had nothing to base it on, it's funny because the slight bit about the masons and the occult that is brought about in From Hell about Jack The Ripper is a lot of what made me like the movie, HAHAHAHAHA, and it was only like 10 minutes of it!
V For Vendetta sucked ass. I mean, as a stand alone I guess it was interesting, but if you're going there expecting one thing and then get handed that...well...it sucked ass.
The Watchmen is something I always wanted to read (I told you Nate lost my copy of it and i never bought another one) but the only news I'd heard about the movie was like "Look at this shot, it's exactly like in the comic, this is a good sign!" so you never know, if it's really just a straight recreation (like Sin City) it could be awesome.
I really think Sin City is the only comic book movie I've ever been satisfied with. Especially since the only thing that they even changed was what happens to Becky, and it only really enhanced the movie by bringing the end back to the beginning.
I also heard rumblings about a Doom Patrol movie, that made me want to cry because there's no way in hell they'll do justice to anything Morrison's ever done. Unless they're just planning on doing the original Doom Patrol because I'm fine with that, I like The Brain just fine, they can screw with that all they want.
