An update, at last!
Lots things have happened since I last posted but here are the most important:
1) My mum had an operation on September 30th. At first it wasn't going to be me who'd stay at hospital with my mum (Uni started on October 1st) but my step dad couldn't come back (he went back to England 2 days before my mum had the operation) so I stayed with her at hospital till the doctor sent her home after 5 days.
Yesterday was the first day in 15days she went back to work. The poor woman couldn't be more bored at home, and I understand her. I wasn't at home so she had no one to talk to; she doesn't like tv in the mornings; and she couldn't lift weigh nor bend. All she could do was sit in the kitchen reading a book, and after 3 hours, that's boring. So she's back to work now, and she's happy. And if she's happy I'm happy :)
2)Back to uni. Not exactly my idea of fun but it was great to see Azahara, Elena, Noemi and Nazaret again after this summer :D
No more news about this for now.
3) This last Friday was my birthday!! yay!! 19! woohoo!! I got money, 'The Notebook' by Nicholas Sparks, Troy and StarWars on DVD...Oh,Troy, my preciousssss, yessss my love, it's ourssssss, the preciousssss itsssss ourssss...*ahem* sorry about that, Inner Gollum.
Even though I was happy because it was my birthday, it wasn't the best and happiest birthday I had. No birthday party, no surprises, not all the people I thought that were going to phone me did it...oh wait, I lied about the 'no surprises' thing. Eli did surprise me. She came from Malaga, where she's studying, and invited me to dinner (at Burguer King...hey! It's cheap and I like it ;). She also told me she'd get something from Rome for me when she wnet there with her sister...that reminds me she leaves today, actually. Bon Voyage, Eli!! Miss you!!
Oh, and I can forget my traditional cold on my birthday! Every single year for the last 5 years I've got t a cold for my birthday, isn't that great? No, it's not, but, saddly, I'm used to it now.
Ok, now I gotta go to send Lucy her calendar (I couldn't send it yesterday, sorry hon!) and suddently I'm not in the mood of writing anything else. Byes!
