[REVIEW] School 2017
Hello everyone!
So today I want to share my thought about this drama that I've watch before. I know that everyone have different tastes on what they like and don't like. And this is my thoughts about this drana.
SCHOOL 2017
Genre: school life, romance comedy, mystery
Synopsis:
Geumdo High School is a school that prioritize their students' score above anything else. Even the order to get food for lunch also determined by their grades. No student have the guts to protest. Even most of the teachers are corrupt. They choose the side with most money and mock the poor. Every other day they would have tests. The students almost gone crazy with stress. Until one day, "X" appeared to "save" the students from madness.
Review:
This drama perfectly describe Korean's school life, where hte students got stressed by studying extremely. It doesn't only describe the problem of one character, but also other characters as well. The main character, Ra Eun Ho (played by Kim Se Jeong), is a poor and not-that-smart student, studying at Geumdo. Of course her school life is full of trouble, since that school is pretty expensive and the competition is fierce. There is also Hyun Tae Woo ( played by Kim Jung Hyun), son of the school director and a trouble maker. Other than that, we also have Song Dae Hwi (Jang Dong Yoon), a poor but very smart student, loved by the teachers; and many other.
They have their own problems that can be said relate-able to our day-to-day life. The conflicts are clear and presented in a very fun way. The romance s also executed very smoothly so that it doesn't distract the problems. Very fun characters and acting. They can convey the feelings of the character pretty well. But, there is way to much PPL (indirect advertisement).
The actors playing in this drama are also new to the film industry, or at least someone that is not that famous. So as a overseas viewer, I don't really know them. But I think they acted pretty good. Also, because of this drama I started liking Jang Dong Yoon XD.
Overall this is a very good drama for you who loves romance-comedy and a school life story. Not really keen on the mystery though. This is my 2nd time watching this drama, and it's still very entertaining, even for those who already know the story.
